Well Ed, that's sweet of you. I'll keep it in mind. Wasn't growing out Stargazer to get freebie testers, but I won't turn ya' down anyways. I've had those seeds on the back burner for only one reason: space and time. When Ronnie James Dio died, I thought: "Heck it's time I busted these out". I didn't take a cut of that girl that's pictured, but I'm gonna re-veg her and take a small clone while she's flowering also.

She's as thick as an industrial flashlight, and is one large cola from about the midpoint of the stem to the top. I gave her a small squeeze yesterday just to see how dense she was......
That's what clinched me on the re-veg....she's solid like a rock....no larf.....and the odor was indescribable.

Taking her with me to see the "Cars" reunion if I can hold onto her that long post drying.

Got another pheno of Stargazer coming up shortly (she's in flower now as we speak), as she just went into 12/12 a few days ago. She's a bush quite literally.........very dense vegative growth....unlike this first pheno which seemed to be a bit lankier.

Anyways, I'm honestly surprised nobody has said much about this strain from the onset....but I'll change that if it's half as good as I think it's gonna be.

Cannot WAIT for the new flavor.

That gal pictured above is coming closer to being done (let's say a week and change). Not sure if I'd describe the smell as "peppermint mentos". Mine has more of a bubblegum type bouquet, but she's only one in a group of phenotypes I'm working through. Have another gal on the way that's markedly branchier.
I've decided that just the density alone of the gal pictured above merits a reveg. But to be safe I've clipped a lower branch with bud and put that right back into 24 hour lighting in the goold old EZ-Cloner. This way I'll guarantee she'll be kicking for another run. I've gotta say I'm pleased with the development thus far and I've got another pheno of Stargazer that just went into 12/12 about a week ago. I'm excited to see more.
I'm also bringing this broad (if I can hold onto her long enough) to the Cars reunion. I betcha the smoke will turn more than a few heads on the floor.

Hmm, upon further inspection of the aroma.....it's absolutely got a background of spearmint....but there's a sweetness that is reminiscent of fruit while flowering. Not a natural ripe fruit which has watery and more muted tones, but that of a fruit flavoring for candy. Juicy fruit gum comes to mind, but it's not quite that either. Very hard odor profile to describe, and I can only go on what's still flowering currently. Quite possibly the drying/curing process will alter the dynamic a bit.

Disregardless of what she does or doesn't smell like, me likey already.

The chop came last night. I made sure I left the bottom 1/3 of growth for a reveg. Only took the forearm length cola to taste. A few small popcorn nugs were immediately flash dried in the microwave (yes, I know that's budget, but I was eager to taste).
Here's the kicker: I can usually piledrive right through a bunch of vaporizer bags before I'm set. I took two bags, and got spaced out enough to not finish the second. The head was hella good.....and I was very pleased. The taste I can't define yet because it deserves a good dry and cure. However, I will say that the potency is spot on.....the body is heavily relaxed (great for pain relief), while the mind is free to roam. I happily played guitar for a bit, then moved onto some Xbox......
Perfect for recreating.

Can't wait for some more! Keep your fingers crossed for the re-veg. I also took a small popcorn nug with branch a bit earlier than the chop to ensure I'd both have a reveg and a clone going as a keeper.

She's got a sister that's in flowering now, so stay tuned for additional photos and info!
