MET going bad?
I have a bottle of MET that is smelling a bit ammonia-y, is it going bad? I've never noticed the ammonia smell before but it has been sitting in my bedroom which never gets above 75 so I don't see why it should be going bad.

Organics
Organics tend to turn pretty quick once the seal is broken. is your bottle swelling at all? try shaking it and leaving the cap off for a 1/2 hour. the amonia should dissapate. Jumpstart, CBB, MET, Sensizym all seem to have a short shelf life. If you use a lot, ask your dealer to sell you 4 1 liter bottles, instead of a 4l. for the same price. use it as quick as you can, and then use the next bottle as you need it.

It's a 1L and it's about a month old, it was a bit bulgy when I got it but it has smelled fine for the past 3 or 4 weeks. Would keeping them refrigerated help?

refridgerate at say 50-60F youd be fine, but anything more I would imagine wouls start freezing stuff.

um yes
but were not dealing with plain water. were dealing with stuff that freezes at higher temps because there are solids in it. Not to mention the extreme temp differences from outside the fridge and room tempature will do more damage than just keeping it at room temp. or just a tad cooler. I could keep my nutes a lot like my res. 68-72F. I dont use a whole lot of organics, and when I grow I usually use quite a bit of the Base nutes when running 8-26 lights. When I repped for Mondo, Nutes would be put on a refridgerated container during the summer months and I know of a few destroyed shipments from both extreme heat and cold temps. these werent even freezer cars and product was destroyed. Another tip.. never buy a bottle that is mishapen. or sucked in, bloated out, or elongated. these are tell tale signs of extreme temp fluxuation.
