Wireless internet
I got a laptop with a Sprint aircard. Everytime I check my IP Address it is different. How safe are these aircards, and can I really believe that or can this aircard be tracked right to me as I type on my sofa???
Thanks.... |

https://www.ip-adress.com/ shows where your IP leads to. To get any closer you'd have to contact your ISP.

Ok I understand. That's the one I use, and the address is like the next state over. So in worse case scenario, they will still track you on these things if you dont use proxies, etc.

wuttup wootay? i have that exact same card that i use to access internet. the person i got the card from works at a sprint store, but they didn't say anything about whether it was safe or not. i wish these things went a little faster.

guys they can track everything... your mac addy on your laptop is one of a kind,, they know everything that addy puts out,, and IF your big enough they will locate you,,,,
use a proxy,, use tor,,,, anything just not in the clear' |

wireless is so insecure, unless you are a security pro, you leave yourself open to hacking...and when hacked, your computer is wide open.

just depends on if you have a password protected wireless connection, so other wireless 'sharks' cant cruise on your web or potentially hack you. |
