Police seized 14 joints and issued and the two were charged with possession of marijuana. They were released from custody and are to appear in Sarnia court Sept. 10

Our daughter (20 something) smokes with us, she has for a few years now...its been a good thing.... every so often we hear "do you have a bud I can have??" heheh she is a good girl, works hard and stays out of semi-trouble...maybe she will be a grower some day, who knows

That's very cool, Mrs. B! I puff with my dad sometimes, he's cool. I wish my mom was a smoker! She used to when she was younger, but now she's against it for some reason. I don't really know, it's not something we discuss a lot - for some reason I think I'd get an earful of biased, 'reefer-madness'-esque baloney if I told her I was a habitual smoker. I mean she knows I've smoked before, but not that it's an everyday thing. Maybe one day I'll bring it up with her but at this stage I don't think she'd be down with it...

My children are still very young, that being said, I plan on informing them all about Cannabis, and alcohol. Their father and I believe strongly that we'd rather see them experiment with pot than with alcohol. As with anything though we will encourage them to wait until their brains are finished growing. Can't be to careful when it comes to your own children. No?

My God Daughter smokes with me and it's fun...I'm still telling her to be good, be careful, be smart, don't drink and drive...she just turned 25...I just can't get used to her being that old? My mom always told me that if i wanted to experiment, to let her know. I didn't smoke until I was 22. She offered when I was 16. I offered her lately, to taste my medical homegorwn, but she outgrew it. :(

I smoke with both my kids. They are in their mid 20's. My daughter watches over the garden when I need to be out of town. My wife and I enjoy smoking with them. They get the lectures still, ie..."Triple D" (Don't drink, drive), don't carry anything with you, etc. But we got a great relationship with our kids. And are button popping proud of both of them. They are great kids, one is a good parent and both are fine upstanding adults.
