Let them go as long as you can man, you'll be glad you did. Let's see those close-ups.

They definitely look like they'll be going longer than the Sour Diesel, which I have no problem with. I am going to let them finish, no sense in rushing stuff like this. I got some pictures tonight, but never got around to picking out the good ones. I'll get them up in the next day or two, they're filling out real nicely.

Well I don't really have any deadlines, so when they start to look done I'll begin looking at the trichs to gauge the ripeness. I can't decide if I want mostly cloudy with a hint of amber, or if I should wait til I've got like half and half.

Day 39 Flower
![]() ![]() ![]() I did a little bit of trimming on the first plant pictured above today, there were a few extremely scraggly buds way down at the bottom, getting no light an stretching like crazy. I cut those off when the lights came on today and set them near my dehumidifier. I smoked them a few hours ago. I wasn't expecting much at all, they're only 39 days old, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had already smoked a little bit earlier so I didn't get a really good idea of how they were, but my girlfriend hadn't smoked at all today. We bought a gram of "headies" for $20 a few nights ago. That was the first time I had ever paid that much for bud, but it was the only thing I could get and I figured it was worth a try. It was definitely worth it, which I was surprised by. Anyways, my girlfriend said that those buds were "alright" and that these were a lot better, just shorter. I felt it fading away after about an hour and a half or so, but I'm sure that's go something to do with only being 39 days old. Sorry for the rambling, I'm still feeling some effects ![]() I'm looking forward to seeing these girls all the way through, that's for sure.

Alright so..... I want to flush for two weeks prior to harvest, but I have no idea when to start. Are there any decent visual indicators of two weeks away from harvest?

That sounds pretty good, that should give them time to fill in real nicely. Thanks for all the advice fj, it's been a real help. Thanks for all the input.

hi folks, hope i'm not intruding on anyone's thread but i wanted to share pictures of my mountain high freebie girls. took these pictures this morning and though i know they'd love a couple more weeks to reach peak maturity, the plants are starting to show the beginnings of the dread menace powdery mildew. so i'm going to cut my losses but cutting my humble little crop tomorrow!
anyways, the plants have been a joy to grow, thanks again for the freebies!
