I have been on the search for another place to grow since I will no longer be able to continue at my current house, what with the blasting away of my yard...and dudes coming in and out to check the foundation.

I have met some seriously anal landlords whilst on my quest....

"Pentecostal Holy Rollin House Inspectors"...and "This is Grandma's House...So I Will Be Inspecting The House Once A Month To Make Sure You Are Taking Care Of It" types.

Pentecostal Holy Roller lady said she had to tell the last tenants to do their dishes...WTF? Then she started asking me about my religion...I almost told I was Wiccan, and there would be monthly orgies in the backyard, complete with fornicatin 'nekkid pot smokin witches !!!

Shrine to Grandma lady said she had never rented Granny's house before....I suggested that she keep it as a shrine to dear Granny.

I will be living in the house with DH and two teenagers...we grow as a family.....and appear to be normal people with jobs and such....it should not be this hard.

I had the problem of finding killer houses and applying (my paper income was about 6k a month) and people kept getting the houses that made 12+k (high housing demand(high income area)), so after 2 months of searching and applying gave up and went with an apt as a temp.

Three bedrooms...a basement...my dogs can live in the house...the landlord is a few thousand miles away..... YIPPEEEE

I have two horses as well, and I found a place a mile away to board them...and it will cost me the same as what I pay now...

Now to get up the balls to order some beans.....any advice on that? Never ordered beans before.....

safe mailing address is the absolute best. do you have any friends that know you grow but dont themselves? there are many threads on the subject and it is a fairly safe process as long as it isnt a huge quantity. good luck with the new house!
