Boinks SB Cough & Black Chunk
This thread will be following my attempt at growing Strawberry Cough, Black Chunk (bc given to me by a very kind and generous member), Yumbolt only 1 left and something I'll call white hawiaan. It was a accidental pollenation of a med clubs hawiaan Indica by a WW male that was spewing pollen away from my grow. Thought I'd throw it in for the fun. I will be adding ppm readings although true readings will be hard due to organic nutrients.
Lighting: Seedlings (flouro), Grow (400w agro sun) Flower ( 430w son agro & 600w red sodium in a Growzilla hood). Nutes: Pure Blend Pro, Liquid Karma, Cal Mag, Silica Blast, Pure Blend. Top Max as a bloom stimulator. Medium: Rapid starter plugs, Plant Ready Grow(Botanicare), lava rocks. Pot size: 6x6x7 in a 3x3 ebb & flow H20: R/O water measured at under 10 ppm. Click for Larger Image Pic taken shortly after transplanting. No nutes added strickly R/O h20. Brown water is just from the run off from Ready Grow alone. ppm under 100. After 3 days changed res and added 1 tsp per gal PBP and 1 tsp per gal of LK. ppm 312, ph 6.0, res. temp 70, ambient 79, RH 40 %. Click for Larger Image 1 week later. Oct. 14. Showing some growth. Usually add 1 gal R/O water per day. On Oct. 17th added 1/2 tsp per gal. Cal- Mag. ppm 490, ph 6.0, res. temp 68, R/H 53 %, Ambient 74. Click for Larger Image 1 week later. Oct. 21. Changed res on Oct. 20. 2 waterings with just R/O water. Added nutes at 2 tsp per gal. PBP, 1 tsp per gal. LK. ppm 715, ph 5.9, res. temp 65, R/H 50 %, Ambient 70. Click for Larger Image Oct. 28. Changed res 10/27 R/O h20. Added 2 1/2 tsp PBP and 1 1/2 tsp LK. All pots showing roots out the bottom. 8 Cough are on right, middle is BC, left is WH and Yumboldt. ppm 805, ph 5.6, res. temp 68, R/H 45 %, Ambient 70. Taking it nice and easy so far on the nutes with the different strains. Showing good growth and color. Nov. 4 Changed res today, running r/o h20 for half day before I add flower nutes and go to 12/12. ppm was 920 before flush. Added 1/2 tsp silica blast and 1 tsp of cal mag during the week to achieve ppm. SB, WH and Yumboldt are at around 13" and BC are at 10". Flower nutes will be PBP flower and grow, LK, SB to around 1000ppm. No problems so far with the different strains. Nov. 21 Been in flower for 2 weeks. Yumboldt was a male, 1 BC was male and the WH was also male. Everything else is just kicking ass. The SBC are all at 3 feet and going. BC is shorter and is very deep green. No tip burning, no curling, everything looks great. ppm is 1100. All updates will be made on this post. So start to finish will be on this post. When I update I'll sent a bump once a week. Hard, I wish, it's a bitch.
If you stay on the lower end of nute concentration and bring them all up gradually together, they tuck in behind one another a little easier. The Cal-mag is the one nute I notice the most difference in the intake from the plants. Some eat that shit up fast and want more and some dont like very much at all. Start weak and add Tex |

Your right sunnyside infact my last grow was three strains and I had trouble but I still came out with some great smoke. They seem to take nutes at different levels. I'm hoping for the best, I wanted one last grow before A dam in April.
TK already taking your advice as you can tell from the nutes I've added. Or do you think I'm to strong already? I'm adding Cal Mag slowly and a couple days or so after pbp & lk. So far reaction is good. |

Excellent Boink, ease into the nutes and you'll be alright and if they start to curl or burn or anything just back off alittle and use strait water for a flood cycle or two and you'll be fine
