Grow bags with flood and drain?

Has anyone used grow bags with coco in a flood and drain setup? Usually I use the 8" coco pots from GH, but I would like to save some money if you guys think these will work. Thanks!

The coco won't soak up the water as well because there is just holed on the bottom. You will also get coco fibers running out the holes and it can get in to your pump and clog things up.

I just had this problem. I wasn't doing the bags, but I was doing square pots with holes in the bottom with coco flood/drain. I switched it over to a top drip system because of the problems mentioned above.

I would probably stick with the coco pots in flood/drain. I don't see why you can't reuse them either. I have not done a full run with the coco pots yet, but I think they could probably last 2 or 3 runs.

Right on pico that makes a lot of sense, thanks for your input. I'll stick with whats been working. I enjoyed your "how to" top drip thread so maybe I'll try that down the line. Peace
