Question Wanted HVAC Guys.....

any you HVAC people know about the Refridig units used in dairy cases at the grocery store ya know the open ones that run forever???? could they be adaptable to the room ??? and could they be more efficent than air conditioners cause you could cap the open dairy case concept and recycle the air to make it an efficent closed system..............????

LOL mannnn icmag can get rough huh! and im new here myself lol. i'd figure it's technically a feasible idea. i would first call the company and ask how much wattage does that thing use to keep a room at say 70 degrees or whatever you need it to be. it is sealed airtight so i doubt you have to worry about vile insects and such. if you're running a co2 burner, i suppose the air won't be such a big problem. i guess you'll need a scrubber as well.

i think a lot of people are disregarding this because if you can buy one of these things, we'd have to assume you own a home! you're not gonna put this on the corner, ya know! at least i hope not. lol. so if you've got a home, it might be cheaper to keep that particular room climate controlled. if you need an outside system to do it then so be it! if you still feel the need for a freezer type room, there are companies that can rig a room in your home to do that so you won't have this big ass steel box outside on the lawn. watch the last few episodes of the first season of Dexter on showtime lol.

like i said, im no hvac person and i have yet to grow any weed.. . but it just seems like too much and too unnecessary. or maybe no one here is really into hvac at all lol.
