Insomnia

so I have insomina....I went to the sleep clinic at Stanford University and got some real good advice. For instance they say that you shouldn't lie in bed awake...Bed is for sleep...if your not asleep within 20 minutes or so...they say to get up and do something else...try again....keep repeating untill you sleep...but they say the worst thing to do is to stay in bed "trying to sleep"... That's all good....but I need to sleep...so I use cannabis extracts Bubble hash and keef no nugs....works well for me....

Make up some bubble thats a little stronger than you like and when you get those, i need to sleep but cant, nights you can simply get so bolloxed you cant stay awake. Works everytime for me. I cannot do tests and the night before them is hell, a little top quality later and i sleep like a baby.

Nice pics HB ! Especially that nice box-a-kif. Ahhhhhhh life is good...

There is another maneuver that helps me much of the time. I pay attention to my breathing and slow it down to 3-4 breaths / min. If you go slowly it is pretty easy to do. Almost like disengaging the clutch of your mind. Unless I'm pumping out lots of adrenaline, this works more often than not...

MrGreenJeans, thats a buddhist relaxtion exercise, if you count the breaths in steps of 2, just "one" "two" "one" "two" and move it to a slow pace like that, it'll further quicken the relaxtion process a lot of the time.

Thanks wikyd! Breath control seems to have been a hot topic for research in many if not all self-knowledge paths, even long ago.

Any way you get there, IME slowing the breathing frequency ( increasing the volume of breath some to compensate ) helps slow down the brain.... Still - thank the spirits for bud - for those times when slow breathing just ain't enough -MGJ

i cant sleep ever,i do plat goo,or blue dot goo,man i can sleep after a couple of tokes,,a few hrs of sleep is better than tossing and turninng and trying to sleep,,then i knock my self out if that dont work,,,,,,

What is this kif? Is this a new drug for insomnia? I too suffer from this and im lucky to get 5 hours a day.

I know that when i smoke mj i go to sleep for a nice sleep. For me when i have the chance to smoke i will smoke a little at lunch time and get a good 2 hour nap and then before bed and i can get up to 7 hours of sleep.


This is why im going to start growing and maybe then i can put away the cancer meds, sleeping meds and nausia pills.

This stuff really needs to be legal to medical users cause i know for a fact it really works so well.

Only downfall is instead of smelling like a nice old grandma i smell like a old stoner hippie when i smoke

I remember when my son first gave me a try one sunday before church. Wow i was friends with everybody that day.

Good thing there was coffee and cookies cause i had dry mouth so bad i could'nt sing. ha ha ha

Great times had by all that day

KIef is essentially just unpressed hashish. It's great but I use edibles for sleep. One cannycookie each night provides about 4-6 hours of restful sleep. The problem I have with smoking to sleep is that sometimes I just stay up tripping :-)
