and the law won...

MY STORY
June 10th 2007

The fun part of the day started at 6:00 pm. The sky was clear and it was 75 degrees outside. It was my neighbors grad party. My neighbor lets call him "Jon, 17" and his cousin from the city lets call him "Tony, 14" were at Jons place. Well i went to his little get together, eat a little food, chilled, chat and then we got bored. This party had more of his family friends than his friends so we had 2 be sober. After this party was done with it was about 8:00 pm. Jon had about 1.5 grams of good green, and his cousin from the city had some good green also. I was carrying my bubbler.
Tony had also brought some fireworks so he have us a handful each. We smoked up and down the block where we knew it was safe. Then we went to the park (which is like my backyard) and chilled on the swings. I see my 13yr brother riding his bike and i called it over. I was high as hell on the swings just chillin. Tony lit a firecracker up at the park. Then 5 mins later we went to Jons house for some pespi and then we went back to the park with our drinks. At the house we thought about puttin the stuff away but nah we didn't. A cop came down the road slowly with his lights on. As soon as he was in viewing distance he put on his flood light and pointed it at us. We couldn't run back b/c their was no where to go besides my backyard. I thought the cop was just going to tell us to go home or sumthing b/c it was dark. He came out "Where the hell are the firecrackers, who has them" Tony jumped out of the swing and handed him his firecrackers. The cop then searched him and found his pot. Then the cop searched Jon and found his pot and firecrackers. Now it was my turn, i told my little brother in another language to kill my plant. I got searched, the found a lighter, firecrackers and my bubbler. Now when i was being searched he told me that if i moved my brother is going to see my head being tackled to the dirt. He said he was going to tackle me if i didn't speak to him. So i did. Now he called for backup and. He said that he thought i dropped something. Now he was just making up shit. He started yelling at me and i did not respond to him. He thought i gave it 2 my little brother or something. I said he is inncoent and he does not need to see this. I told him to go home and the cop yelled at me and said "i told him to stay". I said no go home little bro. Then he told me to get up and put my hands behind my back. The park is in my backyard and my mom and elder brother saw the lights. The cop searched my little brother which boiled my blood. Now the cop was walking me back to his car and my mom came out crying and yellin. I was stoned as hell like i said. Then he threw jon in the car and tony in an other car. The handcuffs were tight as hell. The cop was going threw the radio and the song that was on was "Riding dirty" I sang it outloud and the cop gave me looks but i did't care. Now me and jon were rippin the lyrics to the song high ashell going to the station. Cop got pissed and changed the song. But we kept singint it. We got into the station garage. He opened Jons door and said, Get up, and walk towards that wall. He told me get up and i got up, and i stood thier until he said go, but he didn't so he said "these drugs are messing with ur mind" I said u didn't tell me to go. Well now i was in the station where he made sure that i was not hiding anything. He went in the spots u don't wanna be searched. I yelled at him and told him i have nothing. Then he took pictures of me, and my fingerprints. He then took pics of jon and his prints. Then he put me in a closed 4 wall cell, and same with jon. We sat and rotted in thier for 4 hours even tho my big bro and mom were at the sation. The cell sucked. Thier was mold on the cement floor. A camera always lookin at up. A toilet that was nasty as hell and didn't work. The only thing they had thier 2 sit on was this bench. wooden and rottin. The cell was painted yellow and whomever painted it sucks at painting. Then he open the cell, uncuffed me, and took me into a room. Gave me my police papers and said that he dropped 5 out of the 6 charges. So i am only being charged for drug paraphenial (however u spell it) the other 5 charges were bs anyway. They said i bought the minors firecrackers (2 accounts) i also got them lighters (1 account) i sold them pot or something and other bs i can't remember b/c i was kinda high still lol. He let me threw a door with my big bro, my mom and my bros friend. They all had anger faces. Like wtf u do? this and that. The car ride home sucked. I am 18 and now i have a CLASS A MISDO. Thats one under a felony. By the way i am only a legal resident, i am not a citzen. Now i may be deported for my bubbler. I have lived here my whole life and like a week in pakistan. I love this county. I had lived here for 90 percent of my life. But now i might go to jail or get deported for a bubbler. I haven't done anything wrong. I don't steal, kill, even spead and now this is happin. My father does not kno and right now i am screwd. I face deportation in court on July 25. I have a lawer that cost me1300, and my bail was 1000. FUCK THE LAW.

RIP MY BUBBLER, AND MY PLANT.

everytime i go to that forum i get a little tear in my eye knowing that the cop has my bubbler and my plant is long gone.

Sounds like the america, i have come to hate, other cultures and groups i guess arn't welcomed as much as we think. I was dam lucky i didn't get caught tokin in upsate NY.

Don't smoke in parks.

Keep smoking in public places, and giving the police an attitude, you will have a hard life ahead of you.

fireworks will draw attention if they're illegal or annoying (which most are).

man it sucks that this happened to you but honestly, what were you doing in a park? Anytime a kids in a park after its closed the cops are always gonna be lookin for mj....what normal kid goes to play on swingsets after dark? its a red flag to the cops everytime...3 of my friends have got possesion tickets, and everytime they were in a park. Unfortunaly for one, the park was next to a school and in a drug free zone, then your really fucked...

yes this was in america, it was in illinois! I was not smoking pot at the park. That is just stupid lol. Where i live its not uncommon for people to be at the park at night. I didn't do firecrackers btw. the 14yr did. I got serached illegally. it pisses me off. I was at the park just to chill on the swings.\

Here's the beauty of it. The pipe is a deportable offense, but if he had 20 grams of pot, it wouldn't be deportable. You probably really pissed the cop off when he heard you speaking Urdu. Get a lawyer and see if you can take a plea for something that isn't deportable, because getting deported for a bubbler is bullshit. See if they can give you possession of marijuana instead.

Hey, if they do deport you, you're gonna go through hell. You're gonna spend 4-8 months in a Federal facility before they send you back. Fuck that shit. Immigration laws as they stand right now are fucking ridiculous. At least if you go back to Pakistan, you'll be free to light up firecrackers and smoke some of the world's best hashish for cheap without having cops look up your ass for it. Sounds like you learned a life lesson, especially now being a legal adult at 18 yrs old who will now experience the "system", about how *not* to be a dumbass and get busted for doing shit that draws attention to yourself. Hopefully you will take something positive from your experience.
