Fourplay All Males - Head Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hey guy's iv grown Fourplay two times now and each time all four of my plants turned out male so in a total iv had 8 males out of 12 seed's .And the grow im doin now has already 1 male fourplay so now its 9 male Fourplay
Was this strain unstable or something because me setup is perfect for example i got 6 26 wtt CFl's 6500k And 8 42wtt 2700k CFL's temps are between 74-76 Soil is Fox Farm Ocean Forest .So if anyone else has had bad female to male ratio with this Fourplay.I would really like it if yall had any advice .Or from the man h Mr.Head himself.

Also i was sent Magical Mystery Mix #2 any idea what these assorted seeds may be .And also the first 2 that i have growin might be males ill know in about 2-3 days

Thats not the case i grow 4 plants at a time and out of 12 seeds the ratio is like 90% males and and 10% Unknown And i havent had a female yet to have a mother plant . There is something up or i just have the worst luck ever

Sounds like enviromental conditons with allot bad luck, hope you get some females

Luck of the draw... chuckouyfarley got almost all females from his fourplay grow... sorry man, but getting males in a pack has nothing to do with stability... Each seed is a 50/50 chance, but that dosen't mean 1/2 of each pack if going to be female...

Environmentally you're fine... there ain't much environmental effect on seedling sex anyhow... jus bad luck...

Thanks Grat3fulh3ad for clearing it up for me .I guess i do got some really bad luck.But anyways i will be getting some more of your seeds but dont know which i would like to do are you coming out with any more new strains soon

Yuppers,it's all in The Odds.
Someone gets all males,though it's rare,and in return,someone else gets all females-I've seen this happen 10x more frequently thasn the all-male scenario,however.
I've observed,in almost twenty years of growing,an approximate ratio of 70/30,with the bulk % of from-seed grows being female.
Mabye I'm just lucky.
Starting with a small population,like four seeds, dramatically increases the chances of limited results.
Hell,I'm stating the obvious.
Silly me.

Try this:
1) Start ALL ten/twelve seeds.
2) Grow 'em to clonable size,in 16 oz. beer cups-and do so,labelling each one to correspond with the Parent.
3) As soon as the clones are rooted,put 'em all into flower.
4) Keep the girls,trash the boys.

You can do this in a cabinet easily,and it'll likely save you some aggro and time,and make for a :smile: grower.
