Is it that good....? Is it Kali Mist..? (Cause I like Kali Mist...lol) I am considering it as well.

I'm not sure because I've never run it, but from what I've read it may be much like the pre-98 Kali Mist. Simon(Serious Seeds) and Tony(Sagarmatha) were once partners and both use the same mother plant. Around 1999-2000 Simon changed the father plant to a more Indica dominant specimen to increase yield, which some people were not happy with. Tony has used the same Haze type father for the Western Winds making it more like the pre 98 Kali if not the same. This info is only from what I have read and is off the top of my head so you may do a search comparing the two strains for more accuracy. I currently run the modern Kali Mist.

mR. m. Stands up to the plate....! Thanx for the detailed info.... Sounds like a good strain... There are few real winners, maybe this is one of 'em.

I was offerred a cut of Sag's Peak 19, but it had mites... Thought of buying KWIK KALI beans, but did not like the autoflowering strain that the WW was supposedly mixed with.

This is what I really wanted... plain ol' Western Winds.... Hmmmmmm. I have one real good haze mom (Strawberry Cough - Haze pheno), but another would not hurt.

Maybe it would ---- Truth is, I need another yearlong Mom-choosing project like a hole-in-da-cabeza..

Got Ed Rosenthal's Super Bud and High End, plus LUI and Hashberry in the fridge to start, and am already set with a good stable of Mom Genetics. Perhaps I should bow out, but I already did a Buy Now option on the Deep Chunk seeds being offerred today.. So what's another pack, since I am already ordering..?>?>?>?>?>

Icy-Best of luck if you decide to go with Western Winds. Congrats on the DC. Bowing out is easier said than done. LOL. I've go a ton of stuff in the fridge I need to figure out how to get to also.

Check out my grow thread (first link in sig). I have 10 Western Winds going, from seed, in coco.

Just posted some close-up single plant shots earlier this evening.

I'll try my best to do a detailed grow journal, and compare it against the post-98/99 Kali Mist which I also have. I'll be keeping all female representations until a smoke test, unless of course there's something horribly wrong with it.
