NL5 is clone only, see Mr Nice forums for posts from Kashgar and Hempy for facts on this line. As far as I know only MNS has this lines carried forwards in hybrids. Quote:

Hiya,
just to expand on what HHF said: for a pure Afghani strain you might like to check out the Mazar-I-Sharif - this is a pure indica ("afghanica") strain from the Northern regions of Afghanistan the two 'Kush' strains are from two renowned growing valleys in the Hindu Kush - they are both genuine hashish cultivars too... one very mellow and funky, one with a incense aroma and knockdown stone there will be another indica strain available - Tirah Valley from the tribal areas of Northern Pakistan, another potent indica highland Thai strains are also forthcoming... the Mazar-I-Sharif will be first available, in the next week or two any more questions about the strains, just ask - enjoy ![]() Ngakpa Last edited by ngakpa; 07-06-2007 at 10:15 AM.. |

Proud to say Ngakpa has joined with us! and we are extremely honoured to have him on board as member of Breeders Choice. Im sure you will know Ngakpa from around the boards and will know the depth of knowledge and expertise he brings of Cannabis in general and especially the South Asian regions. We are indeed excited for the future and together with the rest of the team, we hope to attempt a first preservation 'in situ' in the Hindu Kush with ancient Hashish Cultivars. Dreams come true for us all, if we can pull it off we will and Ngakpa brings even more skills and knowledge to the team to make it reality. So, onwards into the unknown! Peace, hhf |

Ah thanks hehe, truly it's an honour and a pleasure to be helping with a noble cause such as this
Quote:
in Northern Afghanistan it will be sown around May in soil which has been fertilised long beforehand with plenty of manure. Harvest takes place in early December before the heavier snows arrive. Mazar is a long-flowering strain, and Afghans prefer to leave plants as long as possible. The strain enjoys a cold finish, including snow... in low temps the plants will also turn deep blood red the hashish/charas is produced by first sieving through fine cloth - the product produced is called "garda" ("dust"). This is then sown up in lightly moistened leather goatskin pouches and kept for up to two years. Once cured, the garda is then moistened again with a little water and hand-pressed to produce classic dark Afghan hashish... Mazar-I-Sharif is some of the most sought-after hashish in Central Asia - very tasty and extreemely resinous, with a characteristic hint of sweetness. The high is seriously strong - mind-warping and narcotic |
