my current AK-47 grow - Indoor Grows - Hydro - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hi everyone, I just thought I'd share some pictures of my current serious seeds AK-47 grow which are 10 days into flower. I have 6 recirculating DWC buckets, which are auto topped, under two aircooled 600hps. Next to that I have two other buckets, that are separate from the recirculating system, which are under a 400hps. All 8 plants are AK-47 but from 5 different mothers because I couldn't decide which ones to keep. I just get so stoned off every one that I can't decide.

Well I hope you enjoy the pics. Any comments, questions, or advice are welcome. I still haven't gotten the AK dialed in perfectly quite yet (had some problems last grow) so any AK growers feel free to give me advice, particularly with the feeding regime, as I've found they can be quite sensitive at times.

Well I'm gonna go get really stoned on some AK!

Anutter AKer here! Though I am on my first run {from clones}, so I don't have a lotta experience with it, really...

What nutes are you running? Shorts {aka GrowerInShorts, GIS} and I are both using GH 3 Part, running the Lucas Formula, managed by ppm. I am presently at day 21 of 12/12, and am running at E.C. 2.0.

Just curious, do you have issues with Res Temps? I've been having to do the Ice Jug thing twice a day just to keep it under 80 degrees...

Another AK grower here! Good to see we are taking over the hydro forum *evil*

I am currently running 1.6 EC, playing it safe, seems to be working well. I went up to 2.2 EC last time, think I pushed her a little too far. I am using GH 3 part mix in veg [0.6-1.2EC] and a 1:2 [micro:bloom] Lucas Formula in flower [1.4-2.0EC] and flush for 7-10 days. Has worked very well, yields have been wonderful. Your setup looks killer, love those air cooled lights you have. The plants look happy

Buzzbob- Nice to hear from you! I've seen your current grow and I like what's going on over there! I think it's awesome that you growerinshorts and I are all so close in timing right now.

I'm currently running the Lucas formula as well, regulating it by EC. I found that my last grow they got over fert much easier than I expected, so this time I'm playing it safe. Right now my EC is at 1.1 and they seem very happy.

I have in the past had serious problems with water temps and root rot, and last grow I also did the frozen bottle method, which helped, but I'm a stoner so I got lazy sometimes :p . This grow I have a new water chiller that I bought which is a Godsent! Now I have constant 69F water temp and the roots are lovin' it!

growerinshorts- I'm glad to hear that you're running a fairly low EC too. I'm guessing that your system allows higher EC levels than DWC since they dont sit in the solution for very long, correct?

I've been goin through your past grows and I gotta say those were some mad nice lookin' buds!

I ordered some KoolBloom that should be here any day now, and wondering if you guys have any reccommendations for using that?

Thats a nice lookin set-up u got there man, those plants look mighty healthy i b following ur grow, b nice to see them near harvest time, my friends about to start growin the AK so itl b interestin to follow and give him some advice hes also hydro using advanced nutrients sensi pro grow and bloom.peace

Cool set up u got there, literally! Im not an AK grower, but my little bro has promised me sum beans from serious for chrimbo, im just trying to decide whether i want the AK or the White russian, acually any suggestions? soz 4 the hijack. Very tidy setup though, obviously spent a long time planning it and getting it right.

Figured it's about time I post some new pics since the girls are now getting well into flower. Today marks day 22 of flower and they are just now starting to put on some weight. I'm starting to get that awesome cherry smell now whenever I play with my plants. Damn I love that smell.

Had some slight over fert problems again, seems like the lucas formula has a little too much N for a couple phenotypes I have in the garden. ok, enough chit chat here's the pics!

Harry Gypsna, hey thanks for checking out my grow. I've never smoked white russian but it does sound like a really good strain! All I can tell you is AK is a good all around strain. I'd recommend it to most people. But white russian sounds awesome so I dont know what to tell you

I'll be interested to see what you pick though

You're right, Shorts and I are somewhere around 1 day apart in flower timing. It's nice having you about 12 days front of us because whenever I'm impatient for fatter buds I just look at your plants.
