Deep Chunk as a mother?

I have 3 nice DC's going at the moment. My main goal is to keep a mom so I can have a constant supply of smoke and also to make seeds with clones. I grew DC last winter but only small plants with a short veg time. I really don't see anyone with a DC mom. Most strains take a good 6-8 weeks veg before they show preflowers, and are ready to take clones. I noticed DC doesn't branch alot, at least in early stages of growth. I remember reading that DC starts branching out at about 8 weeks of veg. Most strains I will top and keep as bonsai style plants but I think I will let DC do it's own thing without topping. I'm looking for any tips on keeping this unique indica as a mom. So if anyone has a DC mom hook me up with some info. Thanks.

High bro!
long time!
good to see ya.

yeah DC can be kept as a mother, but its a slow vegger any way you cut it, so it can take a bit more time.
the tip top of a plant is a good place to start with a clone, as the topps seem to keep moving a bit better as clones and respond faster to rooting.

also/or, after a plant has vegged fer atleast 2 months, better yet 3, is movin along in veg, and cuttings made other than the top will respond a bit better.

treat everything as you would normally, but with a lil extra time, as many of us know DC absolutely SUCKS when it comes to vigor! lol

any other specifics yer interested in, please post, and Ill reply as soon as I read them

Peace, bub.

HTC will focus on Medical Cannabis seed production first, recreational Cannabis seed production afterwards. If the two happen to swim in the same pool, then, beautiful.

in theory, there is no difference between practice and theory...

I have kept DC moms around for a while. The seem to be good at not going in to flower unlike some other strains.

I just tied one nice DC down so the side branches can start forming alittle more. I'm interested in seeing a bushy LST DC.

It's been a few months now and the once Chunk I have left is growing strong and is starting to look like a nice mother. She's branching heavy and is about ready for clones. This plant amazes me everyday, it' so unique. I can say that it's not for beginners. Growth is really slow for 2 months (flouro lighting) then growth starts to speed as branches increase. I can say that DC takes to fim well, once grown for at least 2 months though. I wouldn't top her until at least 8 weeks of veg.
