Question Foods That Affect Your Stone...

Hey All....

Just an old observation which I thought I'd get your opinion on.

So sometimes you're having a smoke and it doesn't feel right - it's lacking depth, not as rounded as normal, not as much fun. Then you have a sugary drink or a light meal and it all kicks in and feels normal; so low blood-sugar or low energy or some kind of deficiency is affecting your stone.

So i'm wondering - what other foods have an adverse/positive effect when you're stoning?

I know that guarana drinks sober me up really quick (doh!) and caffiene makes it racier. So what else????

most likely fatty foods, stock up before on them, smoke, and then continue eating them.

Cool - Thanks Boggled!!! - Off to get some nice chocolate now then.

Especially interested by this bit:

"Traditional Chinese medicine has known for centuries that certain "magic plants" such as cannabis and ginseng will amplify the physical effects of other plant drugs.
Thus their herbal prescriptions are usually a blend of herbs, unlike Western medicine which tends to use a single substance in concentrated form."

Anyone know if Ginseng affects the stone?

yeah ginseng does. it makes it more racy and energetic... well thats red panax ginseng. but any herb that has an effect will put a different spin on how you feel when stoned.

I have read somewhere that there is a reason for feeling tired after smoking. I believe it is one of the b vitamins that is responsible for increasing the enzymes needed to digest food properly. I think its definitely more than just one thing that probably affects it but I always noticed my energy and high departing by the time I finished eating stoned. I used to take a multivitamin and cary around a B complex to feed to my friends when we wanted to act sober after munching. I am not sure that this intensifies the high but it definitely seemed to help reduce the aftereffects.

MY kind requires coffee along with my weed. It doesn't speed the high it just seems to be a perfect combo. Intensifying and smooth.
Of course I'm blue and have a pointed torso and white helmet like hair so my metabolism may be different.

PEACE
