General questions about a Mazar grow in a low height space

Hi everybody,
I just recently discovered this forum, and this is my first post, so please, be patient.
I Grow in coco in a box which is 1m x 1m x 1m, with a 400w hps (in a cooltube) without a reflector (so the plants can grow around it too, to gain a few inches).
I'm growing DP mazar clones this time (and maybe some Northern Lights by Female seeds; they have different phenos but I found the strong one and mummed it), so I'd like to have some advice.
1 - How many plants do you think I should fit in such a space?
2 - Which pot size should i use?
3 - How tall should they be when put flowering?

Remember that i won't be able to water every day; just one day over two; so choose an adequate pot size.

Thanks a lot!
TBM

hey just to start off a 400w light will get you 4x4 feet or there about !!! i run the same size light the question you need to ask is how big are my plants gon'a be if you run a sea of green them load that 4x4 area up and goto town but if you want any size at all you need to close in the area like this low budget man

i used 3 4 foot tall sheets of ply wood painted white and i was off and runing
so with that in mind ask yourslef how bid do i want to grow and it will be easy to answer the rest good luck

Hi you!

Bet 9-16 plants. Flowered when the clones have grown 2-4 internodes and is just fully rooted with 16, or maybe 9 plants if I'd grow them a little and top them so you can flower them 2weeks old. It will depend on the schooling you do of them, and how intense veg light used, but you could fill that room of buds from 4 wisely supercropped plants.

I actually started my first 400HPS grow in a 50x50x80cm mylared box and pulling about 80grammes perpetually every other week. (dependant on strain choice of course...)

Nice to see you try, but be aware of the MASSIVE growth you can experience in coco!!! THe plantsgo completely CoCo

Thanks to the both of you; anyhow, a question remains unanswered - what pot size (using coco) would you suggest (clearly depending on the vegging time). I tried many, but wthout a "scientifical" approach (always in different conditions, so it seems difficult to get a rule of thumb). So, seeing that coco is different from dirt, what would you suggest? (keep in mind the low height!)
