My friend had a drug test thrust upon him unexpectedly, he is an occasional smoker but for four days before the test he smoked each day. He is extremely fit and runs everyday (except for the four days before the test he only ran once and sat in a sauna once). Like I said he sat in a sauna for a couple hours before the test and drank lots of water the day before and of, as well. Also the test was his third piss of the day. Will he fail like he expects or might he be ok?

I don't see any way he can pass this test. Fat people take longer to get rid of THC (the fat cells store it) and slender ones, but the quickest is usually 5-7 days (especially with several days of use).

The sauna would hurt him, because his urine will be more concentrated due to sweat loss.

Drinking beaucoup water has it's limits too, if the urine sample is too diluted it will be invalid and he will be asked to do it again (which would be good in this case).

Just FYI, I hope I'm wrong.

Nah, he'll most likely be fine, especially if he flushed ahead of the test. Both of the drug tests I've done recently all I did was flush with water the day before and of, and passed with flying colors.

And one of these was post harvest, when I was smoking mass quantities :wink:

The other test, I smoked the day before.

I saw a report not too long ago where a testing company stated that a heavy user would be able to pass a test within a week (with no flushing) due to the threshold increase of the test to avoid false positives or incidental positives.

I'm betting he'll pass just fine, let us know, okay?

Depends what type of test. Sounds like he could only pass via dilution. Was his piss clear or yellow? Did they send it off to a lab? I doubt that he passed unless he drank hella fuckin' water and pissed clear.

I'm not sure how much he drank, I knew that when I took my test my piss was clear but they didn't make me take another, sometimes businesses don't want to pay for another. Yea, I will let you guys know how it goes.

To avoid the clear piss issue, I take some Liquid (Rapid Absorption) B Complex and some Emergen-C (C is one of the fastest absorbed vitamins) about two hours before the test.

I'm Golden.

i dont understand why u would use ur own piss if theres even a question of it being positive. i guess nobody can find anybody clean to piss for them.

Probably because 99% of the piss tests are done IMMEDIATELY and on site... hence no way to prep.. lessin you like to carry piss on you 24/7
