I wish to have a record of the cell phone ESN's that come near my home.

I'm trying to identify a ripper.

Does anyone have any suggestions for equipment?

You might as well had put up a picture of a dog if you werent going to bother training them to guard. Thieves and rippers avoid a pack of dogs like the plague I personally dont know anyone with dogs thats been ripped.

I have no desire to hack into anyone talking .. just want the ID numbers.

These folks have probably been here thirty or more times. Most of the time checking my perimiter. Probing and mapping out lights, doors etc.

I need to know when I'm being cased out.

I think that it has stopped. I just need that confirmed.

Magnetic Detectors so that only metal sets them off, you use it with a wireless transponder which records activity and alerts you. You'll know their times and frequency. Nothing beats catching them cold on your own turf with a bow and arrow and a shotgun incase they are just being too aggressive.

What good would random esn's get you? Its not like they would pop up saying Billy Bobs phone. And why would you look for equipment that would draw more unwanted attention then its worth?

Once I've identified which number to watch out for, this same person just might show up as the delivery guy or something like that.

A dog isn't likely to tell me "Billy Bob" either.

How would this equipment draw attention?
Do you believe that it's a good thing to not bother at all?
I should buy new dogs and put them through training school so that the information I want still isn't being supplied to me. And I should stay defenseless while they're being trained.

I don't think so.

As I said .. I don't think they will be back.

They didn't like what happened the last time they tried.

They will like the next time even less.
