hello was wondering how long will you wait before seeds pop.

my method is the 24 hour soak and then the paped towel method in either a bowl with cling film or a zip-lock bag kept in my airing cupboard.

have 4 critical mass beans that have been in the 24 hour soak and benn in the papper towel for like 5 days now and still nothing.i know its not my germ technique because i germed 26 beans in total and only 5 never poppped and you know 4 of them were cm's.

what are your temps for germ? did you scuff the seem of the seed?

hello my temps avrage 77-78oc and i never used any scarification on these particular seeds but did use it on 6 other beans that i had a problem with germination a year ago.

if these 4 dont pop ill try another lot of c mass beans and ill use the scarification on them and see what happens.im a little worried as if the next batch dont germ then i'll be very concerned about the pack of med man and a pack of shark shock that i bought at the same time.the cmass beans i bought had to be fresh as when i first wanted to ge them they were sold out everywhere and were waiting for a restock and i bought the from sbay.

i would try warming your space to 82

right i got another 5 beans from the pack got some scarification going on and 1 of the beans just imploded,so now there are 4 in soak and i'll put them in some fresh paper towel tomorow evening and see how these go.

Any luck? My CM seeds still haven't germinated after 7 days in 82-86 F in a wet paper towel...

I've germinated three other strains in the same space with the same method, they all popped within 48 hours.

hey there turnip i wont be putting the beans in paper towel method until this evening as to give them a good soak.they been soaking overnight and they have sunk allready but will wait till this evening.

the other 4 c mass beans that i have been germing since last thursday have been chucked out now as when ichecked them tis morning at first glance 1 bean looked to be going mouldy but it was turning to mush as were the other 3.

rapid rooters a dome with a heating mat, they have heating pads at wally world they work.. peace..

right put 4 more pips into paper towel/ziplock bag and back in the airing cupboard they go.had the themometer in there and is 82.8oc.will see what happens.
