FMS Neville's Haze hybrid - day 90, harvest

Note for next time: USE A STAKE!

Here she is, an FMS Neville's Haze hybrid that was vegged for 1 week from the time the seed was first watered, then 90 days/13 full weeks of 12/12 ...

I apologise for the poor image, but actually I had to cut off 5 of her main branches just to move her into that position so I could take a photo of her! I'll still probably cut more of her off just to get her out of the chamber.

Her structure as you can see is very tall and lanky, with very long but skinny stems that are unable to support the weight of the buds so they just droop. I've never seen stems so droopy like this before. It also means it is very difficult to move. I didn't have any stems break, but several were drooping close to the floor and i was concerned about them getting dusty, plus being lower to the flower meant they were getting less light.

So a slightly different approach will be needed for my next Neville's Haze hybrid grow (3 beans left!) ... a stake will help support the main stem, but I'm not sure how to go about supporting the other stems, hrmmmm ..... any ideas anyone?

Dunno i've never scrogged before, doesnt really suit my setup / growing style. That'd help it spread out though but I'm not sure it'd do much in the way of helping support the long skinny stems? But anyway I've never had any problems like this before and I've grown plenty of ones as tall as that so i'm happy to treat Nev's as a special case ... I'm thinking i might suspend a few rows of string over the ceiling of the chamber, then I can hang more string off that which I can let the buds rest on.
But definately a good tall stake for the main stem

My guess for this harvest ... 5oz dry bud, my largest harvest being 6oz (600w HPS) from Grapefruit and Sour Diesel respectively - Grapefruit a few weeks faster though.

ps. the whole room stinks at the moment, its a strange type of dinner's ready kinda garlicy kinda meaty kinda planty kinda weird smell that's impossible to describe ... i cant recall the room ever smelling this strongly before, which i'm guessing/hoping is a good sign of things to come when I get around to smoking it in a couple weeks!

nice lady phenomenal, spaghetti structure style ^^ you're going to enjoy the smoke

With these style of structure, i use 4 bamboo tutors of 1.50 m, placed as a square in the pot. I use the training to place the main stem on the tutor i want, and i place the others stems on the more close tutor from them.

That help to make lower and larger plants who get good light penetration, and to stay safe with the branches breakage.

If you work a plant who have a lot of branches, you can roll up a cord around the four tutors to make a training structure who could be very usefull...

My KillaQueenv² got these spaghetti's branches structure and that works well with her

hope to help

The Magic House is on a distinguished road
Can't wait to grow these out. They seem like monsters from every grow report I've read. I usually veg my stuff for a while. This time I think I'll flip her much earlier than usual. Thanks for the report!

This is a very old thread.

However, does anyone have pics of Nevil's Haze Hybrid from Female seeds?

Would be nice to see a veg leaf, budset, and a before harvest pic if anyone has them. The strain is interesting, but not a lot of info on it.
