Most productive hydro system dwc??

I was wondering what most of you thought about this. If you had flowering space 8ft wide 8ft tall and 4ft deep. What do you think would be the most productive hydro system to use? Using the same amount of flowering and veg times.Dwc,nft,ebbandflow....?

Right now I am thinking dwc and splitting the flowering space into two 4ft wide sections so I could use a perp. harvest and harvest about every 30 days. I know about the maint. with dwc but I have seen some huge plants here at Ic and at OG using dwc. I would be able to take advantage of the hieght using dwc. I know I would be able to fit more plants with ebb and flow but I would rather keep plant numbers down. And I dont think the plants could get as big using ebb and flow. What do you all think?

Ps i want a very productive room not to sell and make money.I Just want to provide me and my best friends with free meds so we can stay away from the black market. And we smoke alot! Thanks,Mike

Hey Mike! --

Caught up in the dilemma of what to do, what to do, eh? I know the feeling! All too well...

Have you checked out HOG's Ebb & Flow Bucket Garden? It is a, more or less, heterogeneous system, and seems to be producing some awesome plants!

Just a thought...

aeroponics/dwc

I think aeroponics; clone spinners w/ pump; combined with dwc system; minus the air stone works most efficiently and most poductive, at least for me it has been. Low maintenance as well.

I don't want to start any controversy, but go to OG and search for Hurtback's threads. I was in a similar dilemna as you three months ago, and after far too many hours of research, I settled on bio-buckets, a variation of DWC. Don't take my word for it, I am just 7 days into my first hydro grow, but I believe in bio-buckets enough to drop $2000 US into the setup. As a corollary, bio-buckets are probally one of the most capital intensive DIY systems, but I firmly believe in the concept, and like I said I laid my money and time on the line.

However, whichever system you choose, as long as you are intentive and follow the wonderful advice of good samaritans on this site and on OG and CW, I'm sure you will have a harvest that would make our grandparent's proud.

If you would like to speak with someone here at ICMag about the BioBuckets, check out this thread: BigTokes Hardcore, Bio-Buckets—Playing Around Is Over!!!

While I have not used 'em, I must agree they do seem to create an awesome system if you can afford the setup...

DWC

Go for the dwc, iv just found out that my oxy-pot is a varition on the dwc system, or just a different name for the same system, iv had really good results on my first time hydro grow and it was really cheap to set up and really easy to maintain.peace

Check out the Multi Flow. It truly is the most flexible and expandable prebuilt system out there.

Growerinshorts uses one and has amazing results. I used one for 2 years and still would be if I had the space.

It is basically the same concept as the system HOG made, but it has a controller bucket (the reason it is so expensive) that prevents the possibility of overflow.... one flood is all you need to ruin your growroom.

You can upgrade the size of the pots to 5 gallon rather cheap.

mike,
You might want to pose this question to TexasKid. He does ebbandflow and is quite efficient in his operation. I would think either him or Hooked-on-Gown can give you the best bang for you buck selection. I would imagine it would be a variation of ebb and flow or flood and drain.

Hooked-On-Grown is on a distinguished road
I speak for me and GIS for the multiflow!! Two thums up!! He purchased his through a company and I made mine at home. (Which by the way is under $300 )

Compared to my Ebb & Flow.....I can have 7 buckets with trees and get the same from 32 4" pots.

Check out GIS or my grow threads for the results.........

thanks for the help everyone. I am currently using dwc for my plants now. All plants are just over a month old and all still unsexed. I think Im gonna stick w/ dwc especially after HOG saying he gets the same amount from 7 buckets as he did from 32 4" pots. I currently am not using a control bucket but do plan on making one like HOG's. My space is 8x8 and I am going to use a little bit of that for mom/veg/clone and flower area is 8ft wide 4ft deep and 8ft tall and being lit by one 1000w hps on a light mover. Will add another 1000 when I can afford it.
I currently have 2 g13xhp,2 sourDxC99,1 mango, 1 blue mystic and 1 cripplecreek. All unsexed.Im just looking for a nice mom now. I will have pics whenever I can get a new camera.

Thanks for the help everyone,When I put pics up you guys are gonna be suprised on how much me and BuzzBobs rooms look similar.

If this were legal I would make this my occupation as I think I have found my passion in life thanks,Mike
