Thanx so much for your kind answers! I do not understand "The current Grapefruit is derived from the initial batch from 2007. Only over the years the best phenotypes were selected and used for breeding." Does it mean that current grapefruit is different from the first one around 2005, before 2007 bust?. And if "The C99 hasn't been involved ever since." How can be the same well known years ago strain? For example my two grapes streched a little, the 12 years ago grapefruit stretched a lot, this is what i read in lots of past grow diary...

Here we are

Since 2007 the c99 hasn't been involved with the Grapefruit. And not all genetics were lost in the bust either.
The Grapefruit has been improved by selecting the less stretchy phenomenon types. (Among other things)

Cheers,
Mr B.

I still have the exact same Gf cut alive from a 4 pack I got in 2004 and have bugged you guys on a few occasions about more info on the origins of the semi-auto sativa used. It would be nice to know more about that one, like what planet it came from etc., ive run a number of c99s and even the genius cut and its only that strong fruity sativa i'd like to know more about. Ive crossed it to tons of stuff all turn out incredible and faster flowering. Thanks for everything femaleseeds, not one strain ive run from you guys has sucked.

Hey webguy,

Thanks for your message and for the kind words.
Let's see how to reply to such a question

We started crossing Automatics, so Ruderalis crossings, in the beginning of the 90's not to create a new Autoflowering strain but in order to make Sativa strain, for example, faster and early flowering.
Thing is that we found out during the 90's that if we crossed an Automatic with whatever, the non-automatic offspring was a lot earlier and faster.

So, most of our strains were bred in with this automatic/non automatic plants. For example we sold our Auto seeds to Nirvana as Early-Misty, something somehow close to Low-Ryder.
We did not even realise that in those days Pure Autos could become so popular.

Hope this clarifies a bit

If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to ask again, I will try to reply as fast as possible.

All the best,
Mr B.

Hi again.

in reference to what has been said from your breeder, which is thee cross that you are using now to create this grapefruit evolution without C99 and autoflowering?
GF X an unknow fast sativa?

Does a grapefruit have more (or different) characteristics compared to a C99?

And C99 VS sexbud?

I' m really appreciating as you and your staff, are so comunicative with a rare transparent policy, really rare, maybe unique.but why do not upgrade your strains description on your website?

Best regards!!

Between grapefruit and C99 which one is more potent? Im probably going to try one of these for my next outdoor from seed. A good potent sativa iss what im looking for.

I'm a bit confused what grapefruit I have now... I've had the seedpack for about 10yrs & I purchased it on the back of online reviews on a forum that doesn't exist anymore where the boys where putting in just rooted clones and pulling out massive buds on sticks after 8weeks...
I shall dig the packet out for a photo, cheers for the info MrB

Hey Snu!
Don't worry, no one said that is bad or terrible quality...I just said talked about our Early Misty and its origins since people were asking, nothing more
We just did not know or we did not expect that, while experimenting with crossings of Autlfowering varieties with Photoperiodic ones, the first ones could become popular and eventually appreciated by many growers too. I never said that Early Misty was terrible, I just meant that it was the beginning of our the fast Sativas we are currently selling.

Hope I have been of some help,

All the best,
Mr B.
