This is very hypothetical (hopefully), If anyone could give me some advice I would appericate it.

I am VERY paranoid that my sister will at some point call the cops on me for growing weed. Three years ago she was a smoker, but now she is a lawyer and is on her high horse about the "law" and I think she sees anyone who breaks the law as creating work for her or something.

I concocted a huge coverup that I had quit growing (i grow only a few plants for personal use), and I think she believes me. But she basically hates me at this point, partly because I think she feels superior to my "alternative" lifestyle, and I wonder what she'll do if she knows I am growing. We are basically without communication at this point. One thing I know for sure she would never identify herself if she did call the cops because my mom would never ever forgive her for doing that to me.

I am debating quitting, but it hard when I think of how much i love the craft and the spiritual beauty that doing this brings me. Do cops automatically investigate if they get an anonomyous tip?

They can look around the house, but that won't be enough for a warrant unless she gives her name. If you want my advice, get another place to grow at. Then again, a few plants might not mean all that much in your state. Lawyers aren't cheap, though, and having a record sucks. How about guerilla growing?

Alternatively, tell her you're considering growing again, and see what she says about it. Ask her if she'd report you if you were, even though you're not.

No don't quit. If you aren't strapped down, move, and don't tell her. Anyone who would do this to you, well I would never talk to them again. That is a pretty fucked up thing to do, and girls are the type to do that... I would tell her that until she comes the fuck back down to earth and wake the fuck up, your not talking to her again. Just my opinion maybe too harsh.

The cops can come and look around, but that sure isn't anything. If they see or suspect ANYTHING your screwed. I know it would be hard to get this place cleaned of all growing/smoking related items. And they look good and hard, and know exactly what they are looking for too. A simple seed on the ground can screw you.

I would store some grow equip in her attic without her knowing. And if she snitched I would say how she was a partner and was mad at money issues and snitched. I would then say how she bought equipment and stored it in her attic. "My sister is the money behind everything" that would teach her.
