a good soil grow will probably yield close to a good coco grow. it should be a bit quicker and slightly easier to get the good yield numbers in coco, but in the end a perfect grow is a perfect grow, no matter what medium you use, the yield differences shouldn't be high with the same genetics. the hydroponic aspect of the coco will make for a shorter veg phase and maybe a few days off the total flowering time. the yield should be 10% to 15% above the earth average. but thats if you are achieving your potential or close to it. when i first switched to coco, it nearly doubled my yield at the time.

coco yileds like DWC to me meaning that it grows significantly quicker than soil-the nutes get to to the plant right way and the root system is a heck of a lot smaller
My favorite mix so far has been a 70/30 of coco to mushroom compost but 100% coc is mighty swell all by itself-good luck with coco-I choose to go with botanicare due to low sodium content-be sure to leach your coco before use just in case and add a healthy dose of cal-mag when mixing up the coco with ferts for use-i noticed my most vigorous growers-SAGE-to use up the mag quickler than my SD or sensi star |
