Yes. Angel Dust males are sexually active after around 40days + (remove if you dont want seeds)
![]() These auto-flowering male characteristics in Growdoc's Angle Dust makes identifying unwanted male plants early on,, a really easy job (jah bless dis mee Viking). His Bubble Dust is very similar One of the reasons those commercial growers we knew couldn't get enough of the BD seeds in 2006 was because these plants were an absolute pleasure to work with in large numbers from seed,, just like the AD is. The AD yields less than the BD,, but the end product is often superior to anything else so quick to flower... even the small budlets were like rocket fuel ![]() Anyhow, I n I's bias in these matters,, cause this dudes my brethren sein (we didn't need to vote) ![]() Peace out dLeaf ![]() Tip: Allow those female Angel Dusts to mature naturally (without topping) to bring out all that petrol in the aroma, is smart. This way AD becomes like a two-hit-wonder,, some of the best dope we ever smoked in fact,, honestly,, x3 spliffs in one day,, (when we got a fat sac of erbs),, is a personal record these ends

Thanks mucho, DL!
I am sure hoping that one of the remaining two are fems. I have some little aluminum foil catches made below the stamen to catch the pollen. But you say it may not be viable until the plants are 40+ days? Mine are at 22 days, and I am certain that there will be popping soon. The first pods are non-viable? I sure hope Doc tries to capitalize on the fact that those strains have the pre-flower thing going on. In today's competitive market, that is one aspect that could really sell things. And Doc deserves to profit from his work. I can for certain attest that these seeds leave absolutely NO doubt about gender in a very short time frame. OK...26 days after emergence, I have pollen in the veg, under a 26w CFL.
Sure looks viable to me. I have painted some SSH. Man, this male autoflower thing is an absolute plus! Btw...4of5 are males just brimming with balls. One has nothing, and I am assuming(hoping) fore a gurl. |

I am not the creator of AngelDust, but i do breed it... The Auto flowering allows plants to be sexxed quickly. I will not gone on to tell the heritage of AngelDust as it is a secret, but this does make it harder to find a clone mother, aslo keeps it close to its parents. I have never seen phatter buds on any strain

Hey Growdoc, I was wondering, Does AD have a high tendency to hermie under light stress or will a female never show nanners like A11 or C99 or rarely hermie?
And are the females also autoflowering or is it just the males? Thanks Last edited by overmind1632; 12-28-2008 at 02:13 AM.. |

Ill leave it to the doc to give you a definitive answer, but I doubt that the AD is sensitive to hermie. She is a pretty stout plant.

I am really excited to try this strain out!
The medicinal properties sound fantastic, and those pics make my mouth water. Thanks GrowDoc for giving me the update on the seeds. Will post a review in a few months---to be sure! Peace, love & as Always: Good Medicine~

I plan on growing the AD in a heigh limited space under a 150w hps with 260w additional CFL lighting. Stretch is a concern for me along with yield. Do you have any advice on the stretch if flowered at say 3-4" and whether you feel the AD is a average/good yielder.
