hey guys i got more buds that i can handle and wanted every one input on hiding it i was thinking of burying in on my land in the woods but wanted to know how well can drug sniffing dogs find it or the local leo and would burying work for long term storage and any tips on packeting it so it will last for a long time. and keep leo and other from finding it

Well....never thought about it, but IF I was going to bury buds this is what I would do. Place buds in vaccum sealed bags and wash outside clean. Place bags into jars and seal tight. Place jars into something strong like an ammo box and close up. Bury boxes and blend burial area with surroundings.

Maybe someone has a better idea?

Sounds like a good idea but i would tweak one part of it. INstead of burying in the woods on your land, find out where your property line ends and bury it right over the line . that way worst case scenario if found you could say some kids who hang out in the woods must have buried it and since its not on your property its not your problem.

property line clause is probably the best way to, as long as you have a way to distinguish your burial sight from the surrounding wilderness

yes i was thinking of may be putting a foot or so over the line but was kind of worried that may be some one would clear that lot and build a house on it and as far as a ammo box i was thinking about that as well but was worried about them using a metal dector and find it.but if i bury it in a tubber waer container with out vacuum sealing it how deep would i need to bury it so the dogs cant smell it. i am fixing to shut down my grow for a wile since my securty is not the best right now got to many finger pointing to who i am. and not sure if i am on there radar my inside baby got a week left before harvest and got 7 growing out side and 4 of them are flowering and the local leo just got em a new toy and there fixing to get as many of us they can but would feel better if they did get me if i had my stash hiding for safe keeping. don't need em getting me with over a pound of buds cuz they will get me for dealing which i don't its just personal stash but you know how leo is but as you all well know our hobby's gets out of hand lol and to warn other watch ur screen names my other one show where i live and who i am on a google search thats why i am shutting down my own stupidly did me in. its bad when my un cool bro. calls me on the phone and tells me he knows i am growing weed and read all my post and i did a google on me and dam it showed my real name, home addy, phone number the cars i drive ect ect soon as this baby is done i am sticking tomatoes in the box and hope like hell they do raid me so i can laugh at them. be safe every one

would the local leo actually go to all the trouble to scour your land in the hope of find something with the police dog and then go digging up the ground for many hours?

what i would do is find a stream and hang it under the surface, then when i need it fish it out.

im sure burying it, then it raining will wash the scent??? away preventing the being able to smell it. like when people run thorugh streams tracking dogs get confused and not able to track anymore

that statement has been disproven by mythbusters, water actually holds scent and rivers and streams are low points holding even more viable scent...however if they are not hot on your tail, and there is a "safe" stream where you live then go for it, just dont go get your stach in the winter, or you might find a budstashcicle
