howdy,

just harvested some of what i think is Soma's Kahuana...it has a very peppery smell - like fresh black pepper.

i had two hits from my awesomely new pipe and it kicked my ass! i swear i would not be able to talk if i had to.

so, next time - way way less! *laugh*

oh, here's my curing box - it's a hemingway wood cigar box that has a deep rich wood smell - this is after they've hung for a couple weeks...

any full plant pics? how was yield? What is your estimate on sativa/indica mix?

beautiful bud box there. I should look into buying some cigars for pesticide and using the box in the same way.

sorry, no...but i have some clones that i will post before i chop...

not all that great - but it's not SOMA's fault! this was started under some bad conditions lighting wise so they didn't grow all that well...i'm sure if i start from seed again things would be different.

speaking of seeds i had a male "kush x early skunk" plant that let loose a few pollen spores and so far i've found 2 kushxearly skunkXsoma kahuana and about 22 skunk #1Xkushxearly skunk (should be interesting). so these seeds were a bonus.

sativa - major sativa...actually it's the first sativa i've had (how do i know it's sativa? because it's completely opposite of couch-lock!). i have lyrics and ideas, and greater clarity of memory (as in remembering scenes clearer). i'd probably say 100% sativa only because i didn't get any of the couchlock feel at all.

Somas Kahuna is a 80% Indica 20% Sativa it is a good strain which is why it wouldn't make you cough but its far from a pure Sativa. Not to mention Somas Kahuna isnt suppose to not able you to talk it is a very clear daytime social smoke, so im not sure you have Kahuna.
