The super cool thread...or maybe not....

These have been going for exactly 3 weeks tomorrow. There have been some problems to say the least, but I am still hoping for the best.

This is the best one so far. Major branching everywhere

This is the other ice, there's a deficiency on one of the lower leaves.

Here's the lr cross from mdanzig. It's doing okay, but also has a deficency on the lower leaves.

And there is the stealth growing space. It took a little bit of work, but turned out pretty nice.

This is the inside, I know it's hard to see, but I'm not that good with this camera,

OKay, the first two are on ice #2, the last one is on the lowryder cross. Could these be from root rot? I looked at my roots tonight, and found brown stuff on them, but I just switched to the GH flora nova, and don't know if that could be it. I might take pictures later. Let me know.

Stelthy..Nice Work!

I see some heat related problems, are you venting correctly?

Brown stuff on root's..NOT good :( It's root rot, probly due to the heat. If you can't drop the temp's in their I would not be growing hydroponicly.

Temp's should be between 68 and 82 with 72/75 being ideal.

To help flush the medium and change the res now...add h202 at 1 tbsp per galon to nutrient free water; pH should not be lowered if posible, 6.5 to 7.0 is fine after 24 hours dump, wash and refill with fresh water and continue flushing for 5 to 7 day's adding h202 every day at 1 tsp per galon. Change the water everyday, very important.

After 5 to 7 day's start feeding with a lower ppm, addind a B-1 is a good idea to help with decomp, adding h2o2 can be continued as long as their is no organic nutrient or addative is being used.

If the root mass to realy bad you can remove part of the root mass.

Thanks for the advice, and for the compliments. Did you look at the leaves pics syko2? Does that look like a sign of root rot? If so I will start flushing them with regular water and peroxide, but if not then I'd like to stay away from it. Yeah the grow area stays around 85, but the res is normally cool.

I left town the other day and when I came back it was pretty warm. To cool the res I put little 6 or 8 oz frozen water bottles in there to keep it cool it seems to work pretty good. Someone said use sm90 to kill the root rot, but I am using organic nutes with the gh flora nova, i'm using pure blend original also. So, do i just leave the organic nutes out for right now. I'll take a pic of the roots later on today so, you all can see what I am talking about. hopefully you will be able to tell me.

I do not think it is root rot. You are using Flora Nova....which will turn your roots brownish. It does it to mine. Feel the roots.....if they feel slimy...then its root rot.

Like the stealthy setup!!

Oh....the pics look like a mag def. Add a 1/4tsp of epsom salt....should start to clear up.

Thanks HOG and SP,
IF it was root rot, I cleared it up by washing the roots and the buckets out a couple of times, but guess who decided to join their brother?, the other ice. So one got axed early due to root rot, then the other two turned up male! How's them apples? I don't think I have ever hated my own gender so much! Oh well, maybe that means the soil grow I have goin on will give me all females We will see.

S.P. I think I remember your threads from OG days. You did alot of stealthy work.

ohh well, I'll try to update with my soil picks.
