Question Should I vary my pH?

I have plants in flower. Week 4. They show no signs of deficiency, but do not seem to grow (to my eye).

Here is my nutrient:
N-P-K-Mg-Ca-S-Fe
Grow - 259-81-143-13-?-?-2.6
Bloom - 146-202-164-8-?-?-1.3

Besides Mg and Ca supplements, It's all I have, and it's made for hydroponics. I have not supplemented with Mg or Ca to date.

Can I sucessfully flower with this by manipulating pH? What pH should I use - fixed (5.8 or whatever) or varying? 5.3-6.3?

Could stagnant growth be due to overwatering in coco, or just having the light too close? Still getting the hang of this (1st grow)

I am on my second grow with coco and was not impressed withthe yield maybe I did not wash the coco before I used it. When I test the runoff it is 5.7 to 5.9ph . I have 3 purple kush and 6 odyssey and plan to Do a 3 day Veg cycle before bud this time also I will be adding 2 T.W. and 3 magic romulen in a couple days.

did they stop growing at the point you switched the lights? or have they kind of stretched out for 3 weeks and now stopped?

do you have tiny pistil packed clusters forming at the tops of your growth?

during veg i usually keep a low ph near 5.5-5.9
my ph stays up near 6.0-6.4 in flower

i just use the gh drops so i'm sure mine fluctuate a tad. not a problem at all if you just get nice and close to your target. which is actually pretty easy with the colors imo.

Yes, they stretched for 3 weeks and stopped. There are tiny buds, but they aren't growing from what I can tell - certainly not like when they were stretching.

My plants in organic look thicker and they're a week behind.

*edit*
It may be that the organics are completely stretched, rootbound earlier.

If your yield is down under what you get in organic grows, you're doing something wrong. Here are mine at day 66 of flower. Still got a week or two to go before they're ready. One's 5' tall (sativa dom) and the other is 4' tall (indica). Looks like your plants need more water for one thing dude. Water every day in coco till you get about 10-20% runoff out of the bottom. If you don't, salts will build up, pH will tank and your plants' roots will stop taking in the nutrients they need in order to grow. Plants suffer = yield suffers = you suffer.

Peace

Rebel, this ought to tell ya that you need to be a little more patient. You're not going to be able to stand there and see them grow, lol. You're going to see change week by week, not hour by hour.

Those nute ratios look pretty shitty for a coco setup... my suggestion is go buy some coco nutes or some GH micro and bloom...

What he said. Good call Indica Sativa. I got so hung up on the coco yield thing, forgot to even look at the nutes.

After looking at it, get rid of the Cal-Mag+ if you're using coco. Don't need it as long as you're using tap water to feed with. Even if using RO, it will still fuck things up if you're not careful. Did for me.

Peace

plants do stretch for the first 3 weeks of 12/12, then they stop stretching and start to fill all the branches that they grew in the stretch, with buds.

your nutrients need to be dialed in for coco ideally speaking get coco specific nutrients as has been said already. the coco specific nutes take the guess work out of it which makes getting a good yield much easier. one only has to look at the buds mojo has gotten with coco A+B and a dash of pk, to see how worth while it is to use half way decent quality nutes.

I can probably get Canna A+B, but it seems like a waste when I compare the two.
I don't see the difference
N-P-K-Ca-Mg-S
Canna A+B: 225-87-125-250-100-40
What I have now: 259-81-143-0-13-0

I do have Ca & Mg that I could add in such a way to make it near exact.
I appreciate having things easy, but I'd like to use what I have, and right now I'm not seeing the difference - the ferts I have are made for orchids in coco.

So, should I vary the pH (supposing I get Canna or not), or choose a fixed pH?
