What is the legal status of cannibus in Costa Rica?
Es la mota legal en Costa Rica? Me espanol es no bueno.
Most of the locals tell me certain areas okay. In Jaco I saw a few people smoking it on the street corners hanging out.

i'm not Tico but i've spent quite a bit of time in Costa Rica...

Pot is not legal in CR, but it seems to be tolerated more by their culture. Cops don't seem to mess with all the dealers and users around jaco and tamorindo, and if you're unfortunate enough to get busted just act like you don't understand spanish while you offer a bribe of about $20.
