i carry 10 gallons of water on my back each trip to my plots and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 trips from the watering hole to my plants , and i have up to 15 plots during the growing season!

i actually enjoy watering my plants myself for some odd reason, i guess its the joy of really taking care of my plants instead of letting mother nature do it all for me

i dont think youd die from watering just lose 10 to 20 pounds during the growing season and enjoy the end results much more then ya already do

Oh man do have a story about those cute deer. It was late 90's dont remember the year exactly, but me and buddy had a nice crop in our forrest maybe half mile behind our house. We rolled a couple doobs and decided to see how they was looking it was still a lil chilly out i remember putting a jacket on before the walk. Well we get down to the spot and there was a female deer, with a thick cola still in her mouth laying down on her side asleep. I got a stick and smacked the ground for it to leave, and it slowly got up and walked away. Nonetheless damn deer took off 3 colas im sure it felt good, as I look back it brings a smile but at the time I was pissed off it ate some of our buds

Self i understand but hey the extra hardwork always seems to pay off in the end with better yeilds and healthier plants , but if your already getting good rainfalls and dont want to water could toss them water polymers in teh holes

Great story buck glad ya posted it up! sucks that it ate ya cola but damn it musta been some good buds to put the deer asleep and it still there when ya showed up

This post is pretty much "sticky" quality. Thanks a bunch! I added to your rep b/c I really appreciate the clear, well gathered information regarding the issue of pests.

I was wandering if anybody could tell me... if I did put out a bird feeder.... is it possible for birds to somehow damage the marijuana in anyway?

They dont have reason to peck or scrath at it? And I am 99.9 % sure any bird would not attempt to eat it...

I think the bird section is a great part of the post and I want to do it. But, risks? probably none right? Tell me I am just high.

....oh an ya backcountry you always got something to say about water.... its cool.

i never had problems with birds in my backyard, i had bird feeders 10ft away from my plants and i never once seen a bird mess with the plants or even the ones out in the wild, maybe every once in awhile find a lil bird crap on the leaves from them flying over the plants to get to the bird feeders, but never ate or picked at the plants themselves

Stoner thats a nice thread you have there , if you want you can post the information in here for all to read buddy as its very useful and shouldnt be ignored!
