what happens in this case?
my friend was given a clone. he didn't have anywhere to put it except for a grow tent equipped w/ a HPS light on a flowering cycle. it's been 14 days in that tent, and yesterday it was transferred outdoors. the problem is, the clone has already started flowering while in the grow tent. the bud sites are small, but still visible. i was hoping that by transferring outdoors, would the plant go back to the veg state?

Preflower Question:
I had to move out of a 20/4 veg into 12/12 flower a few weeks ago. I now need to move outdoors as I am loosing my space... Any advice or ideas on how herme they may go? Would I be better off taking some rooted cuttings up from scratch? Help a newbie out plz. |

Oh, if you are trying to match the outdoor cycle, ditch the timer and set up a photocell outside through a relay and it will autosync... sorry if this has already been discussed, but I only had time to skim the thread.

Sorry to be annoying, but does anyone know yield differences between pots and in ground (with high clay content soil)?

I planted clones in the middle of March at 47 N lat. during that month the light period was 11.6 hours day. I thought it was a huge blunder after I checked the light schedule, but since then have determined that it was no blunder at all! None showed flowers at all. I attribute this to the chill temps during the last two months (not cold enough to kill, just slows growth). The extra time spent aquiring root mass is reflected in the plants vigor. Check the party girls out!

great topic! I've learned quite a bit from this thread. As spring is approaching, I'm going to do a side by side to see what suits my situation best. I'd like to take cuts 4/1 and veg under 24/0, and stepping down to 15/9 until mid may then transfer outdoors. Compared to clones under 16/8 (15/9) the from when they were cut and rooted...also going out in mid may. This doesn't seem to be like a waste of time to do...but if anyone has a better use of a side by side, please let me know!
