Have you ever grown that plant before? Could be genetics..
Possible explanation... pH of the coir could be whacked out a bit (you sure your meters calibrated?) Or ya might be feeding them a little too much.. Could be salt buildup.. when you feed do you allow for a descent amount of runoff? Last edited by Indica Sativa; 04-25-2007 at 11:06 AM.. |

the colour of the plant looks ok, ive had mutant leaves normally smaller and odd shaped from white rhino when feeds are alittle strong, this is one strain that doesnt like high ec and will show signs after just a few feeds that are too strong.
what ever the cause is its quite recent only effecting new foliage, looks like your in coco i normally run my PH at 5,8 in veg then upto 6.0 in flower your only alittle off and so wouldnt expect that to be the cause unless Ph has been all over the place in the last week. Ok couldnt find a pic of white rhino with simular problems but here we have bigbud showing signs of over fert as a clone notice lower leaves are smaller, darker but later leaves look near perfect. they where fed 1.6ec from day 1 upto 2.2 by flowering Same thing with the Hog here over ferted when young but quickly got better as plant got big enough to handle the strength. |

yeah man i would lower the ph to 5.8 ec 1.4 seems ok and shouldn't cause problems. also did you flush your coco before use? some coco has a ton of salt in it which needs flushing out before you start.
i would strongly advise you to use pure coco. when you mix it with perlit you risk causing stress to the plant due to the simple fact that those two mediums dry at a separate rate. all the side by side tests i've seen, have shown pure coco to work best. just a thought.
