Personally I'm really excited to see what private breeders do with this one after we start distributing it. I'm thinking that the puna will probably be a more impressive plant but I'm currently working with a large pool of the greengene's cherry bomb. I've already grown out about 20 males and 35 females that I tested for herm traits putting the males through light cycle stress and freezing their pollen. Cuttings from all of the females and some more seedlings are in my cold frame. After I select the females which perform the best both indoors and outdoors I will make the pollination. I'm still not exactly certain if I will turn it into separate indoor and outdoor lines yet we will see. I'm thinking this will be a really good line for outdoor growers in the southern us but not certain yet.

Also the redman skunk may have some potential for being an earlier landrace dominant line. I'm also working with a few pure mexican lines which have been fully acclimated to at the warmer half of the u.s

Breeders Choice, glad to see the conservation passion & be safe on the travels !1) Outside: Most of us here (in areas mentioned above) not having the luxary to grow outdoors past mid-late Nov. & some places no later than late Oct. because of hunting season, so can't grow the pure Columbians or Oaxacan but i'm sure some Mexicans would work, but i think alot of Mexi would resemble alot of the bagseed commercial thats been floodin the US (not saying its not good, just kinda common, generic !). I was wondering about early maturing sativa's from north Africa 30+ degrees latitude (like the pure breed Female Seed uses to make thier Maroc) instead of all the popular extreme southern African sativas. Also any other quality rare earlier finishing lanrace sativas like Celestral Temple Sativa or Burmese that actually makes indica like buds ?2) My other thought is on indicas, most indicas that mature early are usually mold magnets (especially in the humid southeastern & northern territorys) so my thought is lanraces that aren't 100% indica. These are for references only, Not Spammin Here !!! Some examples: HTC ~ Sunshine (80% indica from Brasil) Reef's ~ Kodiak Gold (60% indica) World Of Seeds ~ Brazil Amazonia (75% indica, never heard of them though) Something on the indica side of things w/good-great mold resistance ? My Peace

Walker, I didn't realize you were also a southerner. I'm always glad to see southerners here. According the Mr. G the cherry bomb is a pure maui waui line he stabilized for a cherry thai flavor and acclimated to kentucky(?) with open pollination. Anyways, I cannot wait to see your cross.

How much more of Luiz's stock do ya'll have? He had some other genetics of landraces and crosses with these landraces. He also had some other crosses of genetics that aren't any longer available. I am especially interested in the g13 x columbian cross Luiz had to compare to Reef's Love Potion. Maybe Luiz's has less hermies.
Keep working on Mr. Greengenes Cherry Bomb. And as many landrace south and central american varieties ya'll can find. |

We have now and will have most of luiz's seedlines. I never saw a g13 cutting in his mother plants and I personally saw them all. I will talk to him and see. I think I may have given him some of those g13 x g13 backcross. I have a bunch of his santa marta seeds.
