We are a conservation company with the goal of preserving useful Cultivars and providing breeding stocks of all types of Cannabis, Indicas too. We will be adding some pure Indicas to the line up very soon. All the best, hhf Last edited by HothouseFlowers; 04-05-2007 at 10:39 PM.. |

For sure we agree with you on this, the Hazes are a special on going project for sure as their breeding potential is simply vast. We are working both to in breed isolated phenotypes and also to create pure Sativa F1's for onward exploration by others. It is very long and time consumptive process, as these plants are full year cycles for each generation outdoors or in the tunnels which is the only place for our selections. We have created a number of F1's so far to Landrace females and vice, versa. Mexican, Thais and Colombians. These are being tested and looked at now. We are particulary interested and focused upon the Colombian crosses, with the Punta Roja, Gold and Black lines. Our first choices as we feel these to be the dominant genetics in the Haze we have and from other recombinations in the Colombian genepool have proven to us, this could be a interesting route to follow. Although we are not sure at this stage whether the F1 and on route will ultimately prove more valuable than inbreeding lines for later recombinations within the pure haze genepool. Personally I am working mostly within the Pure Haze pool, on opening lines and inbreeding phenotypes as well as heavy selections for Males, which is my focus. Time will tell but I feel there is huge potential in these lines and highly selected and proven males could open doors for new hybrid development, problem is, proving male, Hazes as breeding parents is just a lifetimes work brother. Peace, hhf |

Our breeder working with the Puna has created a F1 line using other Hawaiian stocks to boost production and vigour and this line tests really well and is very dominant for the pure Puna high. Bests, hhf |

So HHF, what is the high like on the puna? It sounds like and interesting plant to work with. What other pure hawaiian stock do you have to work with?
