BC 001 Colombian Black (LLanos) On Sale Tomorrow
Among the most rare of the Colombian strains this is the quintessential Afro-Colombian cannabis cultivar and goes well with a good Cumbia album. About 1/3 of plants produce solid black flowers with the remainder being a very dark green. The plants grow well with a skilled hand indoors with around 50 wpf and the first mature flowers finishing at around 15 weeks of 12/12 with a subsequent flush around 5-6 weeks later. Resin production potency and flavor are noticeable improved when grown from cuttings indoors or as a large plant outdoors and after a long cure. Seeds are only one generation removed from region of origin and selected against intersexed traits but otherwise open pollinated. About one in 6 plants produce a creeper/jungle vine phenotype and its a great plant for staring a breeding project for either a true breeding creeper or indeterminate multi harvest strain. We are very proud of this one which is a must have for any collector of rare cannabis.

I also forgot to mention the flavor has a dominant tone of anisette/black licorice reminiscent of it's african heritage.

Nice to see you here bro. This CB matures over a couple of stages with the very first, lower buds achieving maturity first, followed later (5-6weeks) by the rest of the plant.. Quote:

hhf- thanks for the info bro!
she sounds really interesting, ive never grown a plant that had buds mature 5-6 weeks apart. i think i'll have to wait for the buy-it-nows to pick up a couple of packs, i have a feeling i'll get my ass kicked on the bidding, lol. im no good at the seedbay wars.

I wish there wasn't such a limited release of seeds.
The prices are going to skyrocket. Maybe next time.

from what i understand, the initial releases go to help finance further collection efforts by zam and hhf, so its definately a good cause. i think there are supposed to be some buy-now's down the road...

I'm thinking there's a way you can work this strain where if you pick the right cutting and work the nutrient and possibly the light cycle a little a grower can milk multiple flushes of flowers for 3-4 months after the first buds are picked. I can't wait to see some grows posted.
