GK outdoors @ 45deg N?????
With spring in the air here in the PNW i'm getting the outdoor girls ready. I bought GK for the indoor garden, made several more mother plants than it turns out i need for the indoor clone production. I was woundering what the word is about GK outdoors?... I could have sevral MONSTER GK's with the starter size of them, however if she's better suited to stay inside i don't want to steal time and space away from production of starins I know will thrive in the wild. I'm near 46 deg north not far from where the man started the family lines we all know and love. Any feedback to help me with this choice would be great. Grow for all the right reasons, Peace. GF

throw them outside!
definetely! dj stuff is great indoors and he bred his lines to be able to work well inside.. but its my belief that you can't reach the full potential of these plants without getting them under the sun..

I agree, but in the PNW.....
..... our great cannabis growing weather is interupted by the rain (and it don't stop for months) most years come the first week of oct. if we have a long fall we can wait till mid even late oct befor haven to harvest premature or not. It would be a shame and a dishearting disapointment to care for the girls all summer only to be forced to harvest befor the nugs are ripe. Does anyone know what the outdoor ripening is for GK at or around 45 deg North? and GK is very solid in it's nug structure.... can it fight off the mold if there is a few late season rain storms... often up here as the rainy season fights with the sun, it's 3-4 day streaches of drizzal and cloud cover... I just don't want to go through the work and find out in oct. i should have given the production space and time to a more suited outy strain. If GK is suited for the envierment, i'll hike load after load of GK up the Mt.. Thanks in advance to who ever can answer my questions.... Grow for all the right reasons, Peace. GF

GentlemanFarmer, can you cover your plants for a week or two, and trigger the plants a bit early, so they finish a bit early! This can be dont under tarps or even by placing a thick garbage bag over your plant each night!

..... eye in the sky, location, and the number of plants make that too laborious and risky.... thanks for taken the time to help though. GF

i think they will be denser than what i'm used to with flo.. but if the gk is spun off from the blueberry line it should still have similar characteristics.. and blueberry is usually very mold resistant..
