I just watched "the wind that blows the barley". Great movie.. Best I've seen in years.. I'm american but my grandmother was from ireland.. Wondered what everyone here thinks of that movie if they've seen it?

well then the movie was bollocks! 1913 was before collins was very well known...i haven't seen the movie but it looked to me like it was about the uprising before collins had done what he is famous for...i hope they make de valera out to be the nutless bitch that he was...

They mention Michael Collins name and quote some speech he had given.. when they were in jail. Nothing specific or specific enough to mean anything to me...
