I got 2 completely autonome working flowering chamber´s with intake and charcoal filters for diminishing cross pollination , so space is not an issue here .... the only limitation which is here is the limited veg space i got .... [ its 4 times bigger than both flowering chambers together but you cant have enough space you know ]


and berry the guess with the box in the chamber and revegging the best ones is very good ... , its really the same way i use , im using just my veg room for revegging the potential keepers [ the offspring is in testing at that time , weeks after the first new shoots developed you can choose the best males as you have smoked the offspring , which was planted in different labeled batches !!! ]

Great techniques fjällhöga, seems to be the simplest way to keep some males around... no sense in having countless male clones all over the place....

I haven't had any problems re-vegging males either..... + it gives you the opportunity to see if they will auto flower (a characteristic I stay away from) when put back under the 24 hr light cycle.....

If the male got problem with regreening then its sign that he wants to be culled , you dont want genes that are making troubles with the change of the photoperiode , the same with males that show no signs of change after weeks of changing lighting times ... ,
most plants i found doing this revealed as autoflowering after the 10th week veg ....

a good example is F13#5fpb#2 [the"f" stands for female] , she´s revegged and about 8 weeks before reaching sexual maturity she began to flower again she´s autoflowering ... , for sure i got rid of her and will ever do exact the same with all AF´s no matter what gender or strain ...

Finally the last Otm outet itself to be a female ... , with some slight mutation´s in flowering ....

Hashplants: I threw them under the bigger light (18/6) and after 3 weeks they showed slight preflowers ... , i killed all tall , thin stemmed males ... , the same with mutants and to fast vegger´s [ the probability of exhibiting heavy/dense flower clusters and heavy resination is higher in plants which dedicate less energy in growing upwards {stem growth !!!} ]

from the first 10 males i have kept exact 1 for further testing ... , with another ~ 40 males to select through ..

Ok no open pollination with the PtK ... , to many freaks in the bunch ...

I sorted them in 3 groups [Indica , slimmer indies , Freaks] , for now i got 1 heavy indica influenced male in flowering which looks simply awesome , smelling very distinct piney/kushy ... , i will get some pix up in the next weeks

I killed 2 freak males and 1 very tall slender sativa phenotype ...

ps.. i only got females on my last otm sprout session, ive got one more pack to find a daddy.

Nice fjallhoga. I'm running 20 OTM at the moment. They are still very young so I will hope for the best in getting a nice male for some pollenation. I have run the F13 also and had no males. I've got 20 more F13 to run sometime later this year so hopefully I will find a nice male in that run. I have F2'd my True Blues and used the same pollen to cross to my F13 so I should be able to find a male one way or another from this family. I look forward to any more info you have regarding the DJ gear.

I got a 50/50 m/f ratio with them Otm´s , but 1 male was Autoflowering and the other one a freak ... , all males i have found from F13 hermed like hell ... and i talk about REAL hermaphrodites ... , not just some pistils in the middle/end of flowering , im talkin ´bout real hermies right from the begin of flowering ... really odd .. , for now i got 2 males still in veg .. , i hope that those will be real males ...
