Pot of Gold, topped or Not?
For POG growers, do you get a better yield topping this strain, or haveing one cola? Thanks

You know, it is hard to say. I just harvested some Golden Skush which is supposedly the same thing. I wish I could show you a picture but I can't find my camera.
Out of 3 plants I let 2 remain as single colas and topped and bent the third. One of the single cola plants matured very very fast and stunk like a bastard but the yield was pathetic. I have a cutting of this plant and just for the sake of "science" I am going to top and train the living shit out of it to see what happens. Of the other single cola plant the cola was pretty nice and fat. The trained plant also yielded well though...I think they are the same pheno. I also think if I weighed the yields they would be about the same. I think it is up to personal preference and growing style. |

im not so sure about topping the pog, from my research of this strain its an absolute winner for high ratio sog, and as a Single stacker grows an huge bat with limited side branching, im delibrating to keep potting the 7 noder i have in veg, or butcher it for cuts, ive viewed the finished product my cutting derived from, and also samp'd the wares,
Word! Fruity and potent as chuff.....ive grown the dutchmans artic, and pure & I wish to try more strains eventually.....so far im highly impressed. reg H&P

I germ'd 11 seeds 10 survived and found one that naturally bushed out. With some pruning she turned into a hedge you cannot see through.
Day 42 Grows nice strong stems that you don't need to support like other strains. Last edited by tokinafaty420; 06-24-2007 at 01:18 AM.. |

Hey huff & puff, I am going to just assume that great minds think alike and you didn't intentionally hijack my name. Either way, I'd like to ask you if you wouldn't mind changing it to something less similar? I bet dutchgrown might even be able to do something about transferring your posts to the new name, if thats possible and you ask her nicely. Sorry to interrupt the thread. Oh and in the interim- I promised HAP that I wouldn't sign my posts HaP cuz he thought thats was right in his dojo. So if you could go ahead and just sign everything Huff&puff the Lesser or even just imposter, that'd be great. Thanks in advance and stay safe.
