This is a test grow of Nexus' own hybrid, 20 beans soaked in water, then placed in paper towel. 19/20 germinated.. and I have a feeling the 20th will come around. I will be looking for the best of the females with regards to yeild, flowering time, fragrance, and resin content. Should be fun, first time working with seeds in quite a while.... Let's see if I still got it!

i'm parking my self right here ... neptune you are awesome

btw, those tails look a bit long... i like to get them in soil as soon as they crack .... IMHO seed growing is where it's at, clones are fun & usefull of course, but starting your babys from seed is a very different type of growing experience ... the sense of discovery & the feeling of pride

you should find 2 main pheno's ... the info was covered in my old thread, so i wont repeat .... i intend to refrain from posting here unless you want my participation, or have a specific question ... always can PM me

Nexus, I hope you post as often as you feel like... of course you are always welcome here man, this thread is as much yours as mine! I will keep tabs via PMs for tips and techniques, but we will mainly be growing and learning together here.

The medium, as you see it, is Weed Farms Happy Frog! This is a new medium to me, but it's from Weed Farms, oh I mean Fox Farms, and they have never let me down with marijuana, I mean, plant, growing products yet. This particular bag has a ton of Mycorhizal Fungi inoculants, Bat guano, Earthworm Castings... the works. FFOF has more products from the Sea, but I intended to add those anyway..(kelp etc). The seedlings are in their 6 pack's now with FFHF, unamended... right from the bag. About 10 of 20 are above soil now, and going for the light... green cotyledons.... LIFE! They are under 160w of shoplight flouro bars, the flouros are about 3 inches from the soil surface.

OK, so here is what I did today. Dumped a 2 cubic foot bag of FFHF into my Home Despot 55 gallon rubbermaid tote, added a bunch of perlite... probably 30% by mass, and a healthy amount of dry amendments:

this will be a 100% organic grow.

1 Cup Kelp Meal
1 Cup Alf-Alfa Meal
2 Cup Rainbow Mix Grow (5-5-2)
1 Cup Agri Lime

20/20 seeds are UP UP and away... nice work Nexus.
They are all going strong, healthy and happy..

I mixed up my dirt that I will use for these seedlings when they are ready to get growing. But first, they will be transplanted into beer cups from these 6 packs, with pure FFHF, unamended so as not to burn them. Once they have grown out of their beer cups, they will be transplanted into their final destination -- 3 gallon grow bags with my Super Mix.

Here is my Organic arsenal... this will get them growing man...
But, I am out of bone meal, So I will be adding that in a few days. The Phosphorous is needed.

1 Cup of each per 2 cubic foot bag of Fox Farms soil.
I skimped on Blood Meal, becuase just about everything else has plenty of Nitrogen... and I will be feeding with mild organic teas throughout, which will also have plenty of N.

Here is that Rainbow Mix, it's a nice blend.. look at the ingredients!!

Mixing in some perlite, more was added later, but I do it a bit at a time to keep the dust down..
I water the perlite also... helps keep the dust down.

And the little ones... %100!
