It is a creepy sativa, it grows with a very peculiar branching. The stretch shouldn't scare you because it is very flexible for bending and/or topping.

Arjan’s Ultra Haze #1
Arjan’s Ultra Haze #1
The subtle idea that sativas are somehow more sophisticated plants comes from the higher and more introspective effect, as well as from the way the plant grows, creping up and stretching both in internodal distance and flowering time. Real sativas are wild, difficult to tame indoor, and very demanding. But they reward the passionate grower with incredible quality. Arjan’s Ultra Haze #1 is a erfect example of real wild sativa with an attitude. It’s a very tall sativa with a typical pine-tree shape and a very good yield and resin production. The flowering time is 13 weeks, and the plant seems never to finish. At the very end of the flowering the lower buds are fully ripe, while the top part of the plants keeps shooting out new trychomes. The genetics are a powerful and well balanced mix of Neville’s Haze, Cambodian sativa and the legendary Laos male from Arjan’s genetic library. The Green House Seed Company is selling this plant only in the feminized version, to satisfy the strong demand for 100% female high quality sativas. The Arjan’s Ultra Haze #1 grows very fast, with a strong metabolism. It is performing at its best in soil, with a low pH of 5.5 during the vegetative growth and a 6.0-6.2 pH during flowering. The EC should be kept around 1.5 in growth and 1.7-1.8 in flowering. Extra Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium are recommended because the plant has to flower for a long time and optimal resin formation needs a help from the grower. The lower branches stretch quite a lot, reaching for the light. Therefore we advise to use yo-yos or bamboo sticks to sustain them as the weight of the buds increases. Sometimes it is good to grow this plant in a SCRoG (Screen of Green) system using a net to create a horizontal layer of flowering branches. This method requires practice but can deliver amazing results. The leaves are long, with non-overlapping fingers typical of a real pure sativa. The last 2 weeks of the flowering period are the most crucial for resin formation. The feeding program should be stopped, and the soil washed with clean water at low pH (5.8-6.0). Always try to ripe the flowers, better to wait a little longer but increase the quality of the smoke. The buds are long, quite dense and heavy for a pure sativa. The production can reach over 1 kg. per plant outdoor. The Arjan’s Ultra Haze #1 smells like incense, spices and musk. It is a true earthy smell, one that conquers the sativa lover from the first toke. The aftertaste carries fruitier notes but does not get into the sweet side of the spectrum. The high is very strong and introspective, very cerebral. Many experienced smokers describe the high as meditation-like. It is very appreciated by artists and people with a creative side always on the move. The mid-low CBD content guarantees that the effect stays quite energyzing. The THC content is over 21%, very high. |

very interesting variation, definetely a different feno (feno being determined by environment, as opposed to geno, determined by genetic differences).
How does it differ in smell and taste? |

I grew some of these out. At first they seemed great. But some hermied, and the end result was not to pleasing. Other clones I grew out, some haze crosses, did just fine. Only popped 5 fems. Luck of the draw?
