Sagarmath - Matanuska Tundra
I am looking for as much grow information on this product. I plant to start from sees which i have and get myself a good mother to take clones from.
Here is my design, I would appreciate some input from you all if this will work. My growroom is 14'Lx5.5'Wx8'H I have a 12" Inline fanb connected to a Large Can 100 Carbon filter. As well as 2 - 6" fans for fresh air. I have 3 x 1000w HPS lites. Not air cooled yet (will probably do something). My plans were to grow in buckets in 6" pots. All buckets are connected to a Central rez that is topped up by another larger rez. There si bubbler in each of the buckets as well as Feed lines dripping at the top.I was planning on doing 15 buckets under this. My strain I have selected is: Sagarmath - Matanuska Tundra So if I could get as much info it would be nice. My nutes will be GH. I think i have all the timers in place for both lites and watering. I need to set something for the intake and exhaust fans. Any help there would be nice. Also should i always leave the water running, or off on throughout the day(if so what intervals). Also when is it best to have the lites on, during day or nite hours... I think that sums up my site at the moment, I may invest in a A/c unit for this room as well and possibly a water chiller down the road as i have spent alot already. Please any input would be nice. welcome
I think youve made a good choice in MT. I actually have 3 MT plants that are 10 days old or so. Can't wait to get this one going, as MT is supposed to be some PRIMO smoke. Im looking forward to it
![]() As far as your setup and all that, 3 1kw lights are gonna put off mass amounts of heat. Your either gonna need an ac unit for the room, or your gonna need to aircool. Look into cooltubes possibly, you can line up the lights and cool several bulbs with one blower. I dont' know if youll get much help on your setup in this forum though. I would try the growers forum. More traffic over there. Good luck with your MTs, if that what you end up with. Like I said, Im growing it now, so if you do get them and have some questions, feel free to PM me. Peace

3 1000 watt hps. sounds like that AC will be a must huh. if not air cooled how are you controlling the heat? my friend as been working with that tundra and likes it. ill give him a call. you should also check SAGs yumbolt too. later

I have yet to fire everything up and run it. Our evening and night temps are starting to drop here so if I do get the lights air cooled i think i should be fine, but yes It s just a matter of installing a small a/c unit. Ihave no window available for this spot and I hate to cut inot the side of the bldg. But will do so if needed.
Yes pleae post any info related to MT as I want to do this grow right. Thanks venge |

Have you seen those portable A/C units at Home Depot. There kind of expesive but it might be easier then installing a window one into the wall. With that you might just need an exhaust fan
hope this helps and good luck. |

Actually i just looked up an old link and found a nice portable unit for $340us (MobilAir Portable Air Conditioner-Heater-Dehumidifier) Which i feel would be a wise investment. A small window unit would be close to that price anyways and this has many more added features.
But I will follow up on the Home Depot unit to compare, its a lot more easier to get from there. venge |
