....I am definately not yer average lookin' fella......but I reckoned that since I was not wearing a turban and sporting a full beard....I was not exactly public enemy number one.....and I passed without let or hindrance into the United States......

...Ahh....then we had to walk for quite a while in a daze dragging our luggage on wheels thru endless expanses of airport territory......hopping on moving walkways and escalators to eventually arrive at the place where the bus for the car rental company could pick us up and take us to the awaiting XJ8.........and D.G. was driving!

...She drove the motor well......on board was a sat/nav system that you could just dial your destination into and the car would just guide you there..........so I dialed into the keyboard 'Boca Raton'......and it pointed us in the right direction....giving us voice commands before various junctions and setting us onto I-95 North to Boca.....It was hot amd humid outside.....but in the air-conditioned cabin of the big Jag it was just 17 degrees celcius........and we chilled to the FM-105.9 classic rock station....pumping out the music....

Gypsy was intent on me using the sat/nav.....LOL....lived 25 years (up until 5 years ago) in Ft. Lauderdale area, so I kinda knew my way around:p Was alot of fun driving the big jag around and playing tour guide to Gypsy I only had him trying to use the extra foot brake on 'his' side of the car a few times LOL

YES!!!!!! Taco Bell! Taco Bell! Taco Bell!

Being away from the states awhile, I had grown VERY hungry for some Taco Bell fast food :p LOL So as I drove Gypsy toward Miami for an outing on Key Biscayne, couldn't keep the car from pulling in here..... viva Taco Bell......we had tacos, burritos, ummmm!

It would be hard to pass by a taco bell without stoping. The one that used to be by my work would let me in at 9.30 for breakfast, they didn't evev open till 10:00.

glad you two are home safe

Hey DG and Gypsy.

I'm glad you two had a good trip, and what seems like a nice relaxing stay in FLA. (and what's with Boca Raton Florida?
RAT'S MOUTH?!?!? Doesn't sound all THAT nice )
But I'm REALLY glad you got through customs and back home safely without the little man at the customs desk saying "Hey, wait a minute... that dude with the shiny top there looks JUST like the dude with the shiny top in this photo here. Sir, would you place your hands against the wall." EEK.
So is this the next installment of "on the road with Gypsy Nirvana(and DG)"? I can see it now... instead of seeing hash being made in Morocco, it's "here we are at a weed house in Miami.... dub sacks of midgrade are sold as fast as the workers can package them"
Peace.
