Cash bond
I've had a plan since the beginning,in case the worst happened and I was arrested.A family member will post a cash bond and I will disappear,I gave 17 months of my life away when I was 19 years old to the state of Va. over MJ and I wont let it happen again,I've got 20-25 years left and they cant have any lol!Anyway, the way I see it is if you ever have to be on the run,its the bondsman that is more likely to locate you than the law.If you dont get pulled over or in trouble, there's no reason you cant outlast your bench warrant.Bondsman have connections all over the place,a couple phone calls and they may be on to you.Posting a cash bond alleviates this problem although you will lose the money. Also, the person posting bond will have to prove its not drug money, they'll have to produce paperwork showing where it came from.Hopefully,I'll never have to even consider leaving my paradise, but you never know.Anyone have anything to add or see problems/flaws in my plan?

You should look into an alternate method of providing the bail, perhaps starting a company with a blind trust and paying the money into the trust and letting the IRS get their piece at the front end.

it's not that hard to stay under the radar in the u.s. . i've gone for years having no contact with da law. and then it was my fault. speedin or wreckin a car.
ya go and rent a house in a not too rural place and go about your regular day. undocumented jobs are not difficult to find. assuming you even need to work. i think i would open up a savings acct in my family members or whoevers name beforehand tho. then slowly deposit cash until it was reasonable. deposit like 1k or2k at a time. a year or two would give ya a decent pile. i know lots of people that have minimal contact with the government. hell, i know people that don't have ssn's. they just live life with cash. i'd get meself a hotdog cart, lol. who writes a check or uses a cc for a hotdog. heh Last edited by WhyMe; 03-07-2007 at 09:34 PM.. |

But hey, the local cops would never think to tell the IRS someone walked into a station and put up 50k cash bail on a manufacturing suspect....

No its money from the sales of his home years ago, money is a funny thing.I'm sure in reality the state would rather pocket 25-50 grand rather than have to take care of my tired ass anyway

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for sticking it to the man, but I think you are kidding yourself if you think you can just post bond and walk away with no consequences.

Yea I'd like to see that too.I just think I'd have more to worry about from a bail bondsman than I would the law,I'd simply have no contact with them like the last 10-15 years,no problem.Changing my name and getting fake ID would be no problem,If I just shot someone or something lol.Even if you do get pulled for a violation, they dont do a NCIC check unless they think its warranted,I'll come up clean in whatever state I'm in.If you get pulled over in Fla they dont know about your felony convictions from other states unless they check the NCIC,I'm sure bench warrants would be the same way.If someone knows differently please say so,thats what this thread is for.My chances of ever having to actually do this are slim, and it'll stay that way.Its good to have options though if something did happen, jail wouldnt be an option for me at this point. What does everyone else think about the ID situation, think it would be necessary to change identities if you move to a different state with a bench warrant?

Believe me, if I could get out of paying taxes I would. You are talking to someone that owes over 60k in fines, interest and penalties. Ballast, Good luck with that, your plan is flawless, wish I'd thought of it.
