2000 Watt First Time Grow Diary - Grow Diaries - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hello all! Im new to the grow scene but I have been reading alot lately and thought I would give this grow stuff a whirl. I ordered some seeds from Gypsy and company to start out. Serious Seeds "Chronic", "Ak-47", Sensi Seeds "Skunk#1" and freebie pack of Mods Seeds "Dream Goddess".

These are at week 4 and 5 of Veg actually. A little small but I had PH problems early on that kept them from growing. Got that dialed in and they started to grow alot faster and looking alot healthier. I started them in peat cups then transplanted to 16 oz beer cups a few days after that. Then after 3 weeks in the beer cups I transplanted into 2 gallon grow bags with Fox Farm Happy Frog soil which I hope will be enough until harvest.

Hiya Q Bert!

Welcome to my grow diary. Invite some friends if you will. I have the 4 different kind of plants going right now. They all are looking really nice at the moment and putting on some buds. I vegged them for 6 weeks total and threw them into flower. I then got rid of the male plants and the plants that wouldnt take nutes as good as the others and was left with 25 nice, healthy females. They began to stink pretty bad even after the first week of flower so I thought I would make a little 4'X8' enclosed room for them so I could at least use a carbon scrubber to take care of the smell, and have something to tape mylar to so I can get better use out of the lights. Here they are at 2 weeks into flower. I still have to install the carbon scrubber yet, add some mylar, wall mounted fans, and some other things.

Well now with the enclosed space and the lights not vented the heat in my 4'X8' box was getting extremely hot. I bought (2) 6'' vortex fans and installed them on the outside of the little room. 1 is blowing into a light and the other is sucking out of the other light which keeps the temperature right around 75 degrees.

And now this brings us to where I currently am with this grow. I am at 3 weeks in flowering. They are starting to pack on a little more weight and loving the lights without all the heat that came with it before I vented the hot air. My carbon scrubber just arrived so I have to install that tomorrow, hang up a wall mounted fan or 2, and mylar the room. About 5 more weeks to go until harvest and counting. Heres some picture of them at 3 weeks taken today.

Looking Good, I too am in a 4x8 box, but am only running one 1000 hps. Had the PH issues and am still working on an optimal intake/exhaust setup myself. I'm in for the duration, nice to meet ya.
