Can anybody tell me the cross in Lownranger? - Mdanzig Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Can anybody remember the parents in the Lownranger cross?
I cannot find any info on it.
I have a (Mazar x LR) X Lownranger cross (f3)
and maz x lr IBL (f3)..
If I can find out the parentage..I might be able to isolate some of the best features..at least I will know what I am playing with.

Are you taking about Lowryder??? Never heard of lownranger... If it's lowryder, you're looking at williams wonder, NL and mexi ruderalis.

It is LownRanger.
One parent is an original LowRyder..but I do not know the other.
Friend just told me that it was a Mdanzig cross..so I thought I would ask here. No one else knows.

Yeah..BadTicket...THAT is why I want to find out the genetics.
It is a purple/blue..but it is getting a bloom..that is matting the top colour..and making it appear black in an over head light.
If I can pin-point the original "other Parent" it will give me a better idea of who is providing the colour...I am trying to stabilise it.
I have an indy the same..but she looks even odder as her fans are more limey green..
This is black sister..albino brother..to give you an idea of the colour contrast in my grow

Next time I get ahold of MD i'll ask him about it. So, are these plants you have going ? What other info can you disclose ? Did they AF and when how many seeds did you start and your m/f ratio?

I will tell you anything you want to know..

This has been driving me nuts.

I germed 4 Maz x LR seeds first grow. All AF. 3female 1 male.
2 indy F 1 sati F. (All LR central cola dom.)
I pollenated the sati with the male from the same grow.
That is my maz x lr IBL cross.
All white buds..although there was a small hint of pink in the pistils.
The Mother finished 36 ins from soil level and I got 88g's..grinder cleaned..cured bud from her.

One of the indy girls was crossed with an AF LownRanger male.
She finished 20-22 ins from soil level. 66g's bud..as above.
From that point I have IBL'd them both.

The second cross was not planned.
About a month after I had harvested I put some out to test the germination.
They grew..but by that time I had taken a steep drop in night temps and I was on a natural..receeding light pattern.
(I didn't expect them to survive..so I wasn't watching them as close as I should.)
Again all AF's. 7 seeds germed.
4 M 3F. 3 different colours on the females. 2 on the males.
F colours. Purple, White and Grey.
M colours. Cream flower (red stalk and veins from start.) White flower..showing red only when well over.
The smallest reddest male..3.5 weeks old..AF'd and pollenated the flaming lot. Including my maz/lown crosses.
(That is why I am slightly behind on them.)
The pollenation plus the light..plus the temps stunted the grow height...but it produced beautiful calyx busting seed. I harvested the different colours seperately.

In December I got a grow cupboard..and most of the stuff on the patio now is from a new year sowing under light.

This is the first grow where I have had any non-af's...
but they are pushing up some very beautiful traits that I would like to preserve and stabilise before starting the AF chase again on them.
I have researched the original mazar (and the skunk#1side)..and the LowRyder side but I cannot get ANY info on the other cross in the LownRanger.

Photos current. ATM I have a purple/red a purple/blue and a pink/matt.
(I think it is the pink/matt that is muting my colour to black)

The AF male in the right foreground is red/purple. The Indy female is blue/purple.

This is the pink/matt. Ice cream colours..

and this strange bud formation popped up too. No one can identify this for me either..but I know I have seen that bud TYPE before somewhere.
(I have a feeling..this may be harking back to the original Afghan G-parents. Its pistils look like little flower buds until they un-furl. Crocus flower shaped)

Any help would be appreciated.
PS..the grow has been outdoor for most of the last 2 month..and has taken some extreme weather conditions...so the fans are a bit battered.
I am not neglecting them.

This is the baby buds on my sati..we call her the Black Widow because as the colour and the trics come in..it kinda distorts the leaves..and makes them look like hairy spider legs..

This one started out purple..with dark leaves

this one started out white..with the lighter leaves...

this one is going to carry the Matt..

this one cannot make its mind up..

this is my favourite..most like the original mother..overstuffed teddybear.
She is carrying the matt..I have high hopes for her..

lownranger was not a mandanzig cross.

it was sold on another site. the site also sold some of mandanzigs crosses and jd's crosses.

the site is no longer.

FYI-your pics look great.
