Hi to everyone,I never posted before(security reasons)but I want to tell u this.....It s 25 years that I smoke and 15 that I grow...20 years ago I tasted some hawaiian from the isles and that was the best taste I ever smoked so I always had the dream to grow some pure hawaiian....but nothing was on the market.....until I saw the SPICE....searched for some grow reports on overgrow and similars but the only things I found were reports on very bad germination rates....well..who cares??maybe bad luck or rookies or whatever..for my sec reasons I don t like to buy by mail...and this summer I was in holland....I drived for more than 100 kms to the alien growshop and finally I had the SPICE... now I germinated them and guess what?????????from 17 SEEDS I have 1(ONE) plant......................... .............now dont tell me the temp should have been21.1 and not 21 and shit like this.......they were germinated with 10 kc brains leda 1(famous breeder for his not germinating seeds) and 3 sensi haw indica(found in a sensi s bag I bought in rotterdam)....and.....100%GERM INATION(the others)....
Now I dont want to be rude or agressive...I think shanti is relly kind person with brains, not just in it for the money(genius,ww is one of my fav smokes)but........man......... ...17 seeds....1 plant(male or female???) I can not even make seeds...I never had such problems in my life with seeds.and I tryed enough seedbanks...there are some problems with the production of this seeds...I don t know but things like this should not happen............17 SEEDS ONE PLANT.............I hope at least it will be a female.......cheers to everyone |

1/17 is pretty bad so what they said ^
One thing that you can try is to carefully remove a small piece of the seed coat at the pointy end, where the taproot usually comes out. Once the actual seed gets in contact with water, it should trigger into germination. I have tried this on some stubborn seeds and it worked. I used a scalpel to chip off a piece but sandpapering it down works just as well I've heard. It's worth a shot Last edited by Soul Fertilizer; 03-02-2007 at 10:34 AM.. |

Hi all
well it is very disappointing to hear of such a problem. But when the seeds leave MNS and go to the shops they are all tested by me. When germination is so low I get very suspicious of something happening to the seeds during their storage somewhere along the line prior to being put into the ground. But like a good seed company we back up our products with help and replacement seeds. If you send me a private message we can deal with this issue so all can be satisfied. I am truly sorry for your wasted effort and will try to help you in the right way.All the best Sb

Well I'm not a troll (or a noob) and I've had some problems popping the Mr Nice seeds that I bought a few weeks ago.
Of 10 Shit that were started only 4 popped, but, 2 are fems and look like really nice, strong plants. They are about to be cloned and grown out. Of the 12 Medi-Man, none have shown any sign of life at all. I've also got some Spice and Shark Shock that haven't been started yet. I'm not blaming anyone, as we all know that Shanti can't be held responsible for what happens to the seed packs once they leave his hands. But I've germinated quite a few seeds in my time and this is the worst rate ever for me. I soaked mine in distilled water for 24hrs then into cotton balls in a plastic bag at about 25c. Any hints or tips very welcome... Thanks BUDDOX (Not angry or ranting) |
